we always like it

I guess we could be considered regulars ,as we go at least once a week. The service in my opinion is great even when the server is all by herself on a busy wing night. As for the review with the $50 certificate they did have a sign on the front door, I saw it there for quite some time. The food is always good but if there is a problem they rectifiy it for us. So Im thinking most people that say they have had bad experiences with the girls being rude is just unfounded , never seen that myself. I have seen alot of loud pushy people in there and they still try to be nice.

Just came home from a Valentine's dinner at DiMaggios. We haven't been there for a while, and went on line looking for the phone number to book a reservation and stumbled these reviews. Sorry to hear that some people have had bad experiences here, and to be honest, we almost didn't go because of them. But to all the haters, we just want to say that we are glad we went back because the food was as awesome as always! Service was great by Cheryl and we will definitely keep DiMaggios on our " A" list!!

awful, never again

Beef sandwich was a total bore. Cheap meat on a cheap bun no toppings. Ceasar Salad was okay, nothing special We had won a $50 gift certificate from a radio station that was supposed to be good until the end of December. Manager refused to take it even though it was only Dec 3rd. She said notices were up in the KITCHEN that they were no longer accepting them. Like customers can see through walls. Should have been posted on the front door. Finally, we just flat out refused to pay because we felt the certificate should be honoured. "Fine" she said, ripping the bill from our hands "I'll pay for your dinner!" We felt bad, but felt justified in standing up for ourselves. Honestly, the food just wasn't good and her attitude was awful. Really bad PR--She even said the radio station was printing coupons out at will and expecting them to honour all of them. Not my problem. We told her to take that up with the station. In the meantime, many saw her flying off the handle. Clearly a neighbourhood joint, they can have it. I won't be going back. This was my second trip there. First wasn't great either, though not as bad as this one.

We've been to Di'Maggio's a few times in the past year and thought their food was great and when I found out that they had a party room I booked my son's birthday there. The food was alright and the party room was good but the service was absolutely ridiculous. We asked for a high chair and never got it, not all of the food that we ordered was brought out and when we mentioned this it was brought out later on and was about 1/4 of the party size yet we were billed for the party size. Our guests had to keep going up to the bar and when the waitress did come in she didn't take everyone's order. The birthday cake, cookies, etc were brought out about 1/2 hour after we asked and then we had to wait another 1/2 hour for the bill. The bill was something else, we were charged tax on the automatic 15% gratuity...who pays tax on a tip?? Our guest weren't impressed...perhaps they should reconsider which staff run the parties because they just gave 24 people bad service...Will not go back and definitely would not reccomend a party there (at least not with the servers that we had).

My husband, son and I went there on a Friday night and even though it was quite busy we were seated promptly. Our waitress was very friendly and when we asked about their party room, she took the time to answer all our questions. We definately will be booking a party there. Food was great and served hot.

Great Food, Terrible Service

We went on a Monday night and besides a dart team the place did not seem too busy. We had to get our own menus from near the door and my boyfriend had to go up to the bar to order. They did actually bring the food to our table and came back to clear the plates but that was it. Our glasses were empty when they came back and not even a peep as to whether we might like a refill. We had to go back up to the bar to get our refill and then to get and pay our bill.

DiMaggio's is the ONLY place where I order...

DiMaggio's is the ONLY place where I order buffalo-style chicken wings. They are nice and crispy and beautifully sauced. The wait staff are so friendly and very accommodating. We have held several parties in the party room and were always pleased by the food and the service.

Don't expect much

This is a great place to order some simple finger food like wings or a hamburger and the service i have experienced is great but not all the time.

i have no clue why these people are bashing this place the must be confused with somewhere else. i had the best time the food portions were hug i didnt think i was going to be able to finish.It was so good i would go back time and time again. the stella was the beer special that night $4.50 a pint thats cheep. the chicken parm was made perfact and i enjoyed how friendly the wait staff was. i have been to dimaggios befor and i stand by saying "this place Rocks" everyone is so friendly!!!GOOD JOB EVERYONE!!! I'LL BE BACK!

We go there because it's close to work... the food was FANTASTIC at one time but over time has slowly degraded. It's still ok but not what it was at one time. The place is a bit of a crapshoot to be honest. Some nights you go and they come to your table right away, make sure your drinks are topped up, and ensure you get what you want. Other nights, you might as well be a ghost. You might come in, sit down and wait 25 min. for a drink then another 45 min. for them to take your dinner order. The funniest part is how it really has nothing to do with how busy they are. You might come in some night and there's 3 baseball teams plus a birthday party, and get fantastic service. The next night the place is empty and you feel like you're offending the waitress by ordering. Then they go and cut you off after 2 pitchers between 8 people. This is especially true with one particular waitress who has been there for a long time and who I wish would just go away every time I end up with her. Anyways, the food is still on the decent side compared to your average pub fare. I will still return to DiMaggio's, not because I love the service or food and drink but because it's very close to work and the food is alright. Also, to their credit, I think the $10.00 Horseshoe pitchers is possibly the best deal in town for a pitcher of palatable lager. Put it this way, DiMaggio's will never be a destination unless I'm leaving work after a hard day and everyone else is going.

This restaurant is excellent for throwing parties or get togethers. They allow you to rent your own side of the restaurant and they will cater food and drinks to you. I've been coming here since I was very young, I used to get the pizza with the gummy bears on the side. This place is great for family and friends. The prices are reasonable, and the food is still great.

Whats up with all the bad reviews? I like this place, food is great and prices are pretty good. Our server was friendly and attentive. The people at the table behind us were commenting on how good the food tasted. Lots of mmms. I noticed in two of the bad reviews the wording was similar which leads me to believe that the same person is just trying to trash this place for some reason. Family members have been here and love the place too. They do need a touch up in the place and seats that don't slide.

I took my daughter in for her birthday. We were seated right away and did not wait long for our meals. We wanted to split a meal and the server had the kitchen do it for us which I thought was nice. The place is very relaxed although some customers at the bar could watch their language with children around. The place does look a little worn. Overall service was very friendly and food good.
