Best Fish Ive had in along time!

Its very simple why this is the best Fish and Chips in Hamilton: They are keeping it simple! Ive had a lot of fish and i also once worked in a F&C place myself so i know what good is......and this is it! The place might not be the fanciest restaurant in the city but the food was good and the own was was a great guy. will be going back as often as i can!

Good F&C

it's a once a month experience, but I wouldn't eat F&C from anywhere else. Batter is light and crisp, fish is great quality These people know what they're doing!

Try the onion rings!

I can't believe I hve lived on the east mountain for 20 years and just tried this place. Best fish and chips we have ever had and the onion rings, fresh cut, battered and fried were amazing. The owners were friendly. The decor is dated and a turn off but the food made up for it. We will be back again for sure.

Wonderful Fish and Chips

Wonderful fish and chips! It definitely hit the spot. Mike, the owner (very friendly,) wraps it in newspaper so you might need an extra hand carrying them for take-away. There's a small dining area that closes at 7PM. After that, it's take-out only. Parking is out back and there's a back entrance so you won't have to walk around the building.

Best Fish in Hamilton

Ordered the Halibut and Chips x 2 for takeout at 9.95 each. Hubby picked it up after work. The owner was kind when he took my order and had it hot for the time I said he would be able to pick it up. It came wrapped in newspaper. It was definately hot. The fish was wonderful and the chips cooked to perfection! Best coleslaw too! I don't remember fish like this since Carnabys in Sudbury. Definately will order from here again.

The fish was lovely and it was a good sized slab of sea meat, the chips were perfect, service was friendly and typical local restaurant style, chatty and inviting. I was given a sample of their home made coleslaw, it is fantastic, probably the best I have tasted. It is obvious that Mike (the owner) truly cares about what he serves to his customers. I will most definitely be going back as it is up there with the best. I sat in my garden eating it out of the paper and newspaper wrapper, absolute heaven. I should have ordered a double portion.

French fries pefect godden brown Fish was moist and flaky very light on the batter it was like he did not cook with oil, but he did. We took order home. Food was still warm when we got home.

Fish was excellent- not too heavy on the batter...

Fish was excellent- not too heavy on the batter and not soggy, even though we took it home. Chips were great- perfect golden colour. Coleslaw wasn't too acidic. I would reccommend this place to anyone craving good fish and chips.
