Had a problem with my GE washer not draining. From the first phone call to the completion of the service everyone was helpful and courteous. I have been using Suttons for over 20 years. I don't know why people wouldn't call them first!
fast simple repair with no issues!
I can't say enough good things. Don't look anywhere else these guys do customer service like it should be done. I called around and was frustrated by two others that didn't call me back after multiple messages. These guys came out and changed the part said we didn't have to pay for it if that wasn't the part required. Top notch service =)
Over a three-month period, we needed simple repairs first on our Bosch dishwasher (drain control) and later on our Kitchenaid gas range (bake/roast ignitor). On both occasions the response was friendly and informative - the person answering the phone knew the problem and ensured that the repair person had the replacement part on the truck. They called as promised to confirm time of arrival, arrived as promised, and delivered efficient service. They were friendly and the price was fair.

Oh, the free advice over the phone was to have a service call. Very rudely! So after all of 5 mins he says it's an expensive electronic part. I refused the service clearly over the phone just to receive another call stating that if they dont hear from me they are ordering the part... Excuse me but free advice asked for not given, quick service call and message stating if i dont call back they will assume i want it... Bad all around. Never again and will never refer

Dan, From the information received in the original telephone call from the customer, Suttons correctly determined a service was needed and our trained technician quickly and correctly diagnosed the need for the electronic part to repair the machine. Due to misunderstandings with messages left Suttons did not proceed with the repair. As a business practice, Suttons would never order a part for a repair without receiving approval from the customer. We apologized to the customer for the misunderstanding related to this matter and did not bill the customer for the service call. Suttons is proud to offer free telephone advice to individuals if asked. We have been able to assist numerous do it yourselfers with diagnosis, ordering parts and home repair of their machines over the many years we have been in business.
Yet another positive experience with Sutton & Sons Appliance repair. The response time and repair work were absolutely top-notch. They offered to send their tech out the day following my initial call to them! I recommend Sutton's to all of my family and friends. Definitely give them a shout if you want honest, reliable and fast service for your appliances.

I have been a home owner for over 20 years and never had such amazing, knowledgeable and reliable home service like Sutton and Sons!! I had problems with my refrigerator recently, and Sutton & Sons came recommended through a friend who was also amazed by their service. I called them for the repair, and they quickly arrived, diagnosed the problem and fixed it within a few days, even with ordering a part from Calgary! The attendant Steve was so professional and as a customer I was impressed by his product knowledge and efficiency . I will recommended and use Sutton & Sons for all my future appliance repairs and installations! Also not only were they quick to answer my calls back, polite and but so pleased to know there prices were the best yet!!
I called Suttons because I had a problem with my gas dryer. I usually repair my own appliances but I don't like touching gas and my wife wouldn't let me anyway. We were very concerned about having a gas smell and i was going to call the gas company but decided to call Suttons 1st. A nice lady put me on hold and then one of there technicians got on the phone and asked me some questions. I wanted to get service out immediately but after talking to him we realized the problem was an open can of paint thinner and the fumes were being sucked through the dryer. What a great company for talking me through this instead of sending service out and charging me. Thank you Suttons
I CALLED SUTTONS AND SPOKE WITH STEVE TO ARRANGE SERVICE AND HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND HELPFUL IN ARRANGING MY SERVICE CALL. TECHNICIAN WAS PROMPT AND VERY PROFESSIONAL AND DID A GREAT JOB WORKS LIKE NEW!!! I HAVE ALREADY RECOMMENDED TO MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY AND WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO.
I have dealt personally with this company many times and EVERY time I have been beyond impressed with their courteous and prompt service, knowledge and overall professionalism. I have encountered different Technicians and have always felt that they have given an honest opinion, fair cost, and made me comfortable having them in my home. I will no doubt continue to use Sutton & Sons for many years to come! AWESOME TEAM!
I was very impressed with this company as everyone gets leery when it comes to servicing an appliance. The lady who answered the phone was so helpful and friendly. Service man who came out was fantastic and so informative. Their rates were very fair!!! will definitely use these guys again and will be referring them to my family as well.
Steve at Suttons helped me understand the concerns with my refrigerator over the phone. His technician was on time and had the problem fixed right away. I would recommend Sutton's to anyone requiring honest, affordable and speedy service!
Very unprofessional, tried to over charge after agreed on price, did not even finish their work and unreliable.

We are sorry we could not help you with your appliance needs, as we pride ourselves on our initial analysis by phone. Since 1928, Sutton & Son has been providing honest and reliable service in Hamilton and surrounding areas. Our original estimate to you was based on the information provided to us on the telephone. Once we attended your home, it became apparent that more work was required to facilitate the repairs to your machines. Since we were unable to reach an agreement for a price for these additional needs, we have never billed you for any part of our service.
If I was able to give zero stars I would. I called them to install all my appliances. Two very unprofessional guys came out, lied about what it is they promised they will do, did not finish their work, and changed the price on me and try to overcharge. Promised to come back to finish, never did. Told me I needed to change my appliance, because they were too lazy to bother to try to install it as it was placed in a weird spot. I got someone else very reliable to come in, got everything done at half the price and with no issues, done so easily! I will never use this company again, and will tell everyone I know to never use them.
