The Upholstery Shoppe

This place is beyond discusting.. I took 2 beautiful old chairs into have done it took him over a year to complete the work kept putting me off everytime i called I finally picked up these chairs and they were discusting... put staples in no tacks material that was ordered that I paid for was not enough so he short changed the one chair and it completely came apart. I sent him a pic of the chair asking for this to be fixed no response. I have now taken these chairs to a upholster in durham.

I got some chair cushions rebuilt and recovered. They were completed before the date promised and they were very well made. I will get more reupholstery done here.

I echo the sentiments of other posts. From November till June they never did the job. I took my cushions back. Made 5 visits with a different promise and excuse each time. The man has no remorse.

Very disappointing. Took two chairs in to be upholstered inMarch. They said it would be a couple of weeks. After numerous follow ups and promises of the chairs being ready "next week", we picked up the chairs in June the same way we delivered them. Work was never started! Will never go back......no concept of customer service!

Was very unsatisfied with the service provided. The furniture was damaged while waiting for reupholstering in the shop and no responsibility was taken. Very disorganized service and not reliable. Never going back.

The chair that was upholstered was not up to par. Dealing with Mr. Davies is a lesson in futility. I ordered additional material to make arm covers several months ago and still have not received it even after numerous attempts to get the fabric and pay for it. Always promising to bring it to the house, time and time again. Very unhappy dealing with this man. Will never use his services again.
