We went for my brother's birthday and it was really good. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meal and although nobody had any leftovers to take home, everyone seemed full.
We always get their roasted garlic bruschetta as an appetizer and as always, it was great. Very traditional style so if you think bruschetta is just tomatoes on garlic bread you might not like it. For my entree, I had their (new) grilled salmon provencal, which was surprisingly good. The tomato garlic sauce on the salmon was amazing and really made the fish moist. The pasta was delicious, although I felt that the tomato sauce for it was a little light and would have liked a bit more.
Our server was pretty good, although he took a long time to bring me a refill on my water and so I had to gulp it down just as we were leaving.
Overall, Jack Astor's is a generally reliable chain and this location in particular seems to do a very good job in picking good chefs and servers. Definitely a good place to go if you're not looking for anything too different.
