A must stop in London. Been around for years. A very "hip" place for the socialites out there. A true London landmark
What do you want from a bar -- cold beer and they got it. The food? meh, don't go there hungry. It is better in the summer out on the patio as sometimes inside it gets a little stuffy. Great staff, loud music, and oh, cold beer :)
Lots of great amosphere here. Like that it's local. Could see some people getting outta control here though. Watch your night to avoid an overindulgent crowd and save yourself some frustration. Can't beat the nachos and wings which I feel comfortable dubbing the best I've had in the city yet. Homemade salsa is delish. Great beer selection and pizzas looked decent. I can see myself back here again with a group. Good scene for people watching.
We love to meet up with friends at Kools for beers and food. Our favourite is Irish Nachos and Kitchen Sink Pizza.
Kool's is my favorite spot when there an event in Victoria Park and you don't want to eat at the stand up vendors there. The service was great, the bevies were cold and there is always great people watching here.
I went on a Monday evening so it was not very.busy. I hadn't been here in years and when my mom suggested it I had no objections. Unfortunately I do now. The server although pleasant was not around enough and she completely forgot my sister's tea. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich with garden salad. the salad was fine but the sandwich was awful, over cooked, no wing sauce and a few pieces of shredded lettuce. brutal. the food also took longer than expected as the only other food ordered was a chicken salad and it was not busy. I won''t be coming back.
