We were very happy to host our friends for a special dinner at 17 Steakhouse. It's a beautiful restaurant and the service and all the food was wonderful. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Was a bit disappointed with the food.
The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the atmosphere was great. The service and staff were impeccable. They were very attentive, professional and friendly. The only problem was the inconsistency of the food. Our sautéed calamari was chewy with not much flavour. Five of our party ordered the lobster bisque and not one of them could finish it. It tasted burnt and watery. My lamb was a little tough considering the price. The sides we ordered (mashed potatoes, brussel sprouts, rapini and asparagus) were all quite good. The several different steaks were also good except for a very small bison tenderloin that took four bites to finish and was seared too much on the outside and overcooked to serve as medium rare. I found the quality and presentation to be of high quality. The preparation was lacking in experience and finesse that a fine dining kitchen requires.
