Horrible customer service . I bought a glasses for my child , they confirmed the delivery in 3 days - no news for a couple of days later - after calling couple of times , the lady was so rude and she just said they are busy and cut the phone while we were still asking her questions ! Really pathetic customer service . been there again - good customer service - pretty satisfied .

I have been purchasing eyewear from Akal at the Eglinton Avenue location for several years. The service at the time of the sale has always been stellar. But perhaps more important, the after-sale service is second to none. with the competition in this field of business, Akal has separated themselves from the field with great price, fine selection and excellent service.

Reasonably priced glasses & very thorough eye exam

My husband and I bought our glasses here at Akal Optical on Eglinton. Ave. West. I really thought the service was great too. They have a camera which shoots a picture of yourself with the glasses on so you can see how you will look with them. We had our eyes examined here by a female - Dr. Tanja. She put drops in my eyes to see the back of my eyes which no doctor ever did. Luckily, all was ok!! I just wonder why that test was never offered to me in my whole life by other doctors. Very thorough eye exam and felt very comfortable buying glasses here!

Great Young Female Eye Doctor!

I got my eyes examined here and Dr. Taneja found cataracts in my eyes. The eye doctor I saw few months back didn't even check for cataracts. Dr. Taneja told me that the medication I'm taking is causing the cataracts which I have to change now. Thanks to her - my vision is saved. Instruments are very up-to-date. The people working there are very friendly - and I got a great deal on my glasses! S.L.
