Went on a weekday night. $20 per person. Not as bad as I thought. I was hoping that they had duck though. That would have been really nice then. Didn't eat too much of their hot food because I was there for the crab legs. The dessert however was pretty nice ( regular buffet nice, not special dessert place nice). They have good variety of desserts and don't taste too nasty like the desserts in some other Chinese buffet. The service is pretty okay, no complain at all.
Very good buffet. Plenty for the Veggie Lovers. Decent deserts. Fresh looking. Good Ice Cream Bar. Get the Waffle freshly cooked. Tasty. Nothing wrong with this place. Recommend you arrive early... Like all buffets that's the best time
I always have come back to Imperial Buffet ever since the first time I tried it. The dishes are delicious and unique. Where else do you find oysters in a Chinese buffet? Imperial buffet also has prime rib, lamb, sushi, crab legs and other dishes that distinguish themselves from other buffets such as mandarin. They also have all the essentials in a Chinese buffet such as chicken wings, noodles, fried rice etc. They replace their food about every 15-20 minutes so you always have fresh food. They have good quality food and delicious dishes. The service isn't the best service, mainly because the waiters and waitresses don't speak english too well or they're too busy. The manager is very nice to everyone and always has a big smile. The restaurant is very clean and plain, I love the way the restaurant is set up because all the food is in the middle. Overall Imperial Buffet stands out from all the other buffets because of the range of food they have.
I always use a coupon going here (BOGO) which ends up as about $25 for dinner for two people! It is not very busy there during the week at dinner time, no lines & they don't run out of stuff. I eat a lot of the king crab legs, they are awesome! LOTS of variety in desserts, cut fruit is always fresh. Typical Chinese food for rest of buffet and pretty good! Would recommend & return for sure.
I went to the Imperial buffet yesterday with a friend and found a nice sized house fly mixed in with my crab and stirfry. It made us both ill and we told the server. He offered us two free drinks for the trouble. We were not too pleased and then we ordered the two drinks. He came back and said the manager told him it could only be two non alcoholic drinks from the menu. We ordered two lemonades for $5.00 and didn't drink them and left. Never again. Filthy .
This buffet is clean, has a nice environment and good fresh food. I've read previous reviews, but every time I went, the food was well prepared. I especially enjoyed the garlic shrimp (I think it is in a Chinese style garlic sauce of some sort) which tasted fresh and delicious! The size of the shrimp seems quite large compared to what other buffets offer. I also found the crepes & fresh cream very nice. :) The service is prompt though I wish they would not rush you to eat sometimes since there is a 1.5hour limit. If you are with a lot of people, it's difficult to meet that time and a little uncomfortable when waiters rush you by giving the bill early and frequently giving reminders about time. I suppose this was due to the large amount of customers since it was a Saturday. Overall, I recommend Imperial Buffet!
Roast beef is of low grade and not kept warm. Sushi does not have any fresh fish. Who ever heard of a thin slice of smoked salmon as a substitute in sushi?
Should have taken advice of customers leaving. Horrible food and I wanted to leave rigth away.
It was my first time to visit this location in Mississuaga, limited select items, taste terrible, when I talked to the manager, never give you the right answer, may be they don't really care of the customers, only thing impress me is the dessert, anyway it's also my last time to visit.
For three people, we spent about $80 on a week night. Which I think is a bit expensive for chinese buffet. They did have cold crab legs, but I didn't get a chance to try it. Their sushi also didn't look to appetizing, but everything else was pretty good. They had a really good dessert selection and had fresh fruits as well. Overall the dishes were a bit more westernized I think.
We went there for lunch on a Sunday afternoon at about 2;00 pm. Myself and my 3 teenage children. Around 2:45 the waiters started circling our table and rushing us to leave (lunch finishes at 3:00). II did not have time to eat some cookies that were on my dish and wrapped them in a napkin and had them beside my dish. I was planning to eat them later when I would not feel rushed. When they brought the bill to pay it came to 64 dollars for the four of us and I gave the waiter 70 dollars and asked him to also bring me a receipt (something you always have to ask for there and there seems to be an issue every time you ask for a receipt...) The waiter came back brought me the receipt but no change back. He turned to leave and I asked him to bring me my change. He got mad when I asked for my change put his hand on his waist and argued something. He came back and brought my change. A few minutes later the manager ( a woman she never introduced herself to me or anything ) come up to my table in a very hostile way flanked by two waiters and told me that if I wanted take out service I should ask for it. I showed her the two cookies that were wrapped on the table and I told her, do you want the cookies back? She showed me the table in a very hostile way and told me to leave the cookies on the table!! She turned around and left. I did not say anything, I was stunned. I asume the other two waiters were there in case they decided to punch us or something. I also have to asume that they are putting the food that is left in the dises of customers back to the buffet for other people to eat. ( I would concider it my obligation to call the health department). In most restaurants if you have food left that you want to take with you they provide a container for you to take it with you, they do not intimidate you and insult you. I also understand that the minute the food is on your table-your dish it should not be going back to the buffet!!! I would think that If this was somebody lets say a little more "warm blooded" there would have been quite an ugly scene there. Or is this why the manager brought her two waiters besides her to insult a woman that was there with her three teenage children?? I leave it up to the reader to come up to their own conclusions about this restaurant and to also say that this was an outing that I had planned on Sunday with my family and they managed to make me wonder what are my legal rights in a siituation like that...
I LOVE THEIR FONDO SET!!!!! love eating strawberries, love their desserts.... the food? haven't really ate anything but desserts.. good restaurant though!
Fresh food. Excellent selection. Clean. Good service. If you don't like Chinese, there is bbq meat, fish and chips, pizza etc. Something for everyone! My son loved the chocolate fountain!

I just came back from it and it was simply ana amazing dining experience! they don't have warm crab legs anymore and instead, they have been replaced by ones that are served cold, which i tihnk are even better becauyse they have a fresher taste! Great choices of sushi and desserts!
