Unprofessional Groomers Indeed
I was wondering if I was the only one disappointed with this salon, and I was not surprised to see that indeed I was not. These people behave like they own the place and they don’t care or need your business. To say they have poor customer service skills is a gross understatement. They are simply hostile. I made an appointment with Darcy. At the time of the appointment I was met by another groomer who bluntly said that my dog will have to be shaved because he was matted. We had brushed him the night before and regularly in the past. Clearly this is a practice they frequently employ. When Darcy saw him, she said she was going to do him without shaving the legs. When I was given the paper to sign, I wanted to put it in writing, being concerned that he may end up shaved. For the kind of breed I have, shaving their legs is a big no-no. Right then and there she decided she is not going take him anymore and I was to remove him. These people have the attitude that IF they decide to take your pet, they are doing you a great favor. I had made an appointment, the dog was fine to be groomed, and all of a sudden they simply decided they will not take him. I could not believe the lack of professionalism. Eventually I asked for a manager and she ‘agreed’ that they will take the dog. The grooming itself was not a problem. But the attitude was unbelievable. Never before was I met with such hostility and child-like temper tantrums. Very unprofessional. Absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND!!
