The most important part about running a business for Carolyn Dunn is going that extra mile for customers. "People need to know you care," she says. "You might feel under the weather or have something on your mind, but you put that aside in order to provide good customer service."

At Carolyn’s Beauty Supply & Salon, this means getting that special order for a customer and educating them on what each product can do to meet their skin or hair needs. "I’ll pass on all of my experience."

Started as a beauty supply store in 1994, Carolyn’s Beauty Supply & Salon stocks top brands in hair, skin and make up products for those in the trade as well as customers who simply want a cut above. Then, in 1997, Carolyn opened the salon part of her business. "We are also a full service salon with aesthetics,” she explains. “When a customer likes products that we have used for their treatments and haircuts, they come over to the store and we can supply what they need."
