We take Gluten-Free seriously...Linda P., a really good friend of ours, was diagnosed with having Celiac. Linda went for years before finally finding out her problems were from foods containing gluten ingredients.
DISAPPOINTED!! I ordered the Sunday Deal. On their website it shows 2 Halibut & Chips and 2 Beverages for $21.50. When I picked up my order I was charged an additional $1.50 EACH of the 2 Beverages in the deal. When I asked why I was being charged for the beverages that were suppose to be included in the deal they told me I had to purchase the 2 drinks to get the deal. It doesnt state that anywhere on their website. It shows they are included. Thats false advertisement if thats not the case!!
Excellent, first time here and the fish was well cooked. Good prices too. Best of all, if you're looking for gluten free take out, this is the place. They offer all there fish as gluten free batter, as well as GF tartar sauce, gravy and cole slaw.
Good service, good food, love this place, best fish and chips in town for sure, even with delivery chagre, better prices then most!! Totally recommended, I eat here at the least onces every few weeks!!
We usually get the special, red cod and chips, because we're on a budget. It's every bit as good as any of the other fish types, mildly flavored and not too flaky. I quite like the chips, the gravy is unfortunately powdered, and they don't serve mushy peas. C'mon, someone sell peas, already! The service is very pleasant, and there's usually a paper or two to read while you wait. We will be back, mainly because they are so close to home. I find it just as good as any of the other local fish and chip places, so don't be afraid to give them a try.
This is take-out only and we won't be ordering from here anymore. Fries had a greasy texture on my tongue and the roof of my mouth. Oil poured out of the boxes into the newspaper. This place has been around for years and I don't know why they can't get it right.....although the staff are very nice.
