FANTASTIC custome...

FANTASTIC customer service. This place is so personal. I've been taking my car here for YEARS and I always know my car is in good hands. They really do emphasize doing quality work and taking the time they need to do a good job. They are very transparent and will openly show you what is wrong with your car if it needs repairs. I'm surprised by previous review because my experience there has been top notch. I also know others that go there and are very happy with the service.

RUN! Don't walk.

Based on a recommendation, I used this garage for the first time this week (August 21, 2013). After making an appointment for 9 a.m. and driving an hour to get there, I was informed by the owner, Joe, that he wouldn't be able to look at my vehicle until 2 hours later - 11 a.m. When I asked why he hadn't informed me of this, he replied, "I didn't find out until late last night," a feeble excuse if I've ever heard one. I left but after 10 minutes decided to come back and ask for my keys as I was going to take it to another mechanic. Surprise, surprise! All of a sudden he was able to look at it right away. After an hour's labour, at $120.00 per hour, his mechanic was unable to find the cause of a gas leak on my VW Westfalia. Joe then outlined various alternative options, all costly with no guarantee of success. Counting my losses, I left and took my Westy to a more mature and experienced mechanic. He found the source of the problem within 5 minutes. Clamps on hoses that were not tight enough and the tell-tale signs of dried gas - greyish in colour. Unfortunately, I have to concur with the previous review - save your time and money and take your vehicle elsewhere. You'll be glad you did!
