After many years of providing services to soldiers, veterans, and police officers, the diagnosis and treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder and somatization (where stress shows up as body symptoms like pain, fatigue or poor concentration) have become two areas of specialty. Because of past experience working with neurologically-impaired people, assisting patients and their families adjust to life after a brain injury or illness is also a longstanding area of interest.
