    I went to the Emergency Department with an injured right foot, but the Doctor, after a six-hour wait, only gave it a cursory examination then sent me home. For three weeks I hobbled around on the swollen foot, then went to my own physician who gave me a script for x-rays at the Civic Hospital and a script for a boot to protect my foot. At the Civic Hospitals Imaging Department, they discovered that I did have broken metatarsal bones, a fact that was overlooked by the Doctor at the Montfort.

    Always giving the run around when booking appointments. Waiting almost 2 weeks for 1 appointment and won't book my other "until they get to me" even though I'm on the phone with them already!! They tell you everyone else is in the same situation...might be time to do something about that. I had both my children here and spent more time in the waiting room than in an actual room. My husband had to threaten to make them transfer me to a different hospital before finding a room for me.

    Excellent care. Paramedics, radiology, emergency room, Dr. Mathieu Carrierre and volunteers were incredible . I was diagnosed quickly and had to be transferred for an emergency procedure . I cannot stress enough how comfortable I felt knowing that the Montfort truly had my best interests at heart . Thanks to all of you .

    The worst experience I've ever had being admitted to a hospital!!! Very rude nurses especially in emergency!! One nurse pulled on my cathidore cause I was crying about pain...yanked on it and told me maybe I should have come in the night before and I wouldn't be this sore right now...tried to hide under a blanket cause the lights were hurting my eyes...bad migraine she fought with me trying to rip it off my head!! And then up after being admitted I would wait 9-12 hours for pain meds!!!
