Professional rece...

Professional reception at thee door. Varied , fresh and delicious salad and soup and fruit buffet, always refilled. I am fasting and I couldn't have another serving because the 1st serving made me full and very satisfied. I could only nibble on little pieces of fruit and some grape, al though they were delicious. My daughter enjoyed her chicken brochette, with nicely cooked rice beside. My son helped himself more than once and he was very impressed with the whole experience. We had a very nice

Never got to sit

I had made reservaions 3 weeks prior to the date that I wanted which was November 25th. Afterwards a week before the 25th I had called again to make sure the reservations were good and add 2more people. To my surprise, on November 25th, I arrived at the scores in the trainyards in Ottawa with my family to celebrate my 22nd birthday and gave my reservation information to the guy. He told me that my name was not on the list. I then asked him well what do you mean its not on the list? I called twice and everything was fine. He kept saying that I wasnt on the list so he couldnt do anything so I asked him for the manager and he told me that he was the manager. What poor customer service. He never even offered to try and fix the problem. Ive never been handled so poorly as I did tonight. I was very dissapointed

I had been wanting to try out this restaurant as it opened recently at the Trainyards. On a Wednesday night, the place was packed, but as we were just two we didn't have to wait long for a table. Our waiter was kinda weird, didn't tell us anything about their salad bar so we had no idea if we were allowed to use it or not and if we were being charged for it. It was pretty busy so we didn't see our waiter until our food arrived (not even our waiter who brought it) so we never got the chance to ask and didn't get to try it out. Basically, this is the same as Swiss Chalet or St-Huberts, but in my opinion St-Huberts is probably tastier (especially if you are in the east end because St-Huberts would have been like two minutes away from where we were). Also, on their website they advertised a holiday special but they didn't have it in restaurant.
