Using a coupon that I had purchased on line, I went to Westboro Spa and Hair Studiio today and had a wonderful, professional microdermobrasion and facial done by Gladys. The facility is clean, nicely decorated and professionally run. I have used coupons at other facilities before and the treatment and quality of service varies tremendously. This was a 5 star experience and I will return.
I went to the Westboro Spa for the first time and it was the perfect relaxing experience. I had a pedicure and a facial. I was pampered and the timing of everything was perfect. The employees were very attentive and extremely pleasent. My pedicure was my best one. The results of the facial were extremely positive. I really enjoyed myself and this will now be my regular spa. Highly recommend this one.
I've been going to Westboro Spa for awhile now. Yesterday I decided to get my first haircut there. Amanda did an AMAZING job!!! I expect nothing less from this establishment. I have also had my nails done and many massages.
I personally have my diploma in Esthetics and highly recommend Westboro for following proper procedure and protocols.
I also travel all the way from Orleans just to go to Westboro Spa/Salon. I love it that much! The nearly hour and a half bus ride has always been worth it!
Thank you so much Westboro Spa/Salon!
I visited the Westboro Spa a little while ago to use their esthetic services and was very happy with their professional service, beautiful and relaxing spa environment and great location- will definately go back again!
I've been a regular client of the Westboro Spa and Hair Studio for 3 years now and have nothing, but great things to say about it. The staff are all very professional and courteous. They go out of their way to accomodate you and fit you in for appointments during busy times of the year. The ambience is warm and inviting and really relaxing. Most of all, I have the best hair stylist and esthetician. She always knows just what I want and does a great job. She's knows her stuff and always has great tips and advice. I've had hair cuts, highlights, waxing, manicures, pedicures, facials, and massages there and would recommend all of the above at the Westboro Spa and Hair Studio.
I have been a client of the Westboro Spa since 2008. I started going for gel nail fills, and soon after for pedicures, esthetics, massage and make-up. Two years ago, I began having my hair done there as well. I have been well looked after by almost every technician they have, I feel comfortable helping them test new products and services and I know they take my feedback to heart, even when it's constructive. What I like most is that from the time I walk in, to the time I leave, I am treated like a valued client and friend - and it's the kind of place where you see neighbourhood frineds, strangers talk to each other, or you can get lost in the massage chair while having your toes done, if you prefer not to chat. I have referred many family members and friends over the years, which I would not do unless I had complete faith that they would take equally good care of their new clients and referrals.
I am a long standing and regular client at this location, including before and after it was taken over by new management. Throughout this time, I have been extremely satisfied with the services provided by Gladys, an esthetician at Westboro. She is always on time and completes her work as scheduled. She has a bright and engaging personality and provides professional and competent services, which have included waxing, facials and microdermabrasion. I highly recommend Gladys.
I've been going to this spa for about 2 years now and I've become a regular client there. I'm there every month and have received incredible service. The atmosphere is calm and warm and everyone on staff is very friendly. I get my hair done (extensions, style, cut etc...) by Amanda. She's great! She always takes her time and makes sure to style it perfectly. I've spent 8 hours in her chair getting extensions put in and she always does it with a smile on her face. I also get my nails and wax there and have never had a bad experience.
SOOOO Unimpressed. I went there for a blowdry, a simple procedure. I was given an appointment with a "junior" stylist. They confirmed with me that the price would be $30, tops. I get there, and the "junior stylist" is making annoying conversation, asking me annoying questions the whole time. I ask her to do something so simple- a blowdry with big waves. Nothing else. It usually takes other stylists like 30 mins tops to do. She took out a flat iron, fried my ends, and gave me some weird style that I DID NOT like. Then, she proceeded to mess up my bangs. I go to pay, and they quote me $50. Yep, you read that right!! FIFTY DOLLARS!? For hair that looked ridiculous? They'd quoted me THIRTY dollars, then messed up my hair, and I never asked her to do what she did, nor did she warn me at any point in time that what she was doing would cost me $50, not $30, which is what had been previously discussed. Never, ever going back there again. I expected much, much more. Very disappointed.
I am very disappointed and surprised to hear about this experience. We are very careful to quote approximate costs especially with hair services. It would have been very helpful to have received a phone call from this client as we could have certainly looked into this at that time. We would then have taken the approriate action to try and satisfy the clients needs as well as bring this to the attention of the stylist in question.
Bad customer service
I booked an appointment with them, and after waiting 30 minutes they told me they had to cancel on me and reschedule, because they had squeezed in somebody in front of me, and they were running behind. They asked me to reschedule. I wanted to cancel altogether and get a refund, but they said they couldn't do it, because I paid Dealfind (through their voucher). Now, they did apologize, and offered me 25% any services in the future, but I'm still not happy, My whole morning is basically wasted. Why do they make appointments then, if they're not going to keep them?
