They do an amazing job. I've been taking both of my dogs here for many years. Holly and her team are great and the dogs are comfortable here. I would not go anywhere else! She is gentle and always does a great job.
Took out 3 Samoyeds there last week. They started to brush them but clearly gave up. All 3 still have knots behind their ears. Two of them have brush burns on their tails, one has a cut below her ear! Our big male looks like he was washed but never brushed. They didn’t even get a small patch of tree sap off the 2 females faces. I called and they said “we did the best we could”!!! The only option would be to shave them down. I brushed it out in 1/2 hour. Obviously never going back 😡
They always do a great job with my dog and my cat. Reasonable prices and super friendly service.
We took in our Shih tzu and asked for the puppy cut. Asked them not to put elastics in her hair because when they come out they start knots. I should have known better than to leave her when I saw a poor shih tzu poodle mix that was hacked. They said it was because he was natted. My baby had knots around her ears but her body was not natted. When we arrived to pick her up she had an elastic under a clip in bow. They over did it with perfume powder and her beard was gone. We took her home and noticed she had a hack job!! Her hair was all uneven and when she took the bow out of her hair her head was a mess. Then tonight while giving her a belly rub I felt some scabs!! Under her front leg she was cut badly so we decided to check her out. She was also cut under her chin. I am disgusted!! We had to apply antibiotic oil on her. I called and left a msg and will be going back to get back my money...and if she gets infected I will be going back for more than that!!!! STAY AWAY!!! They could have told us they cut her but they didnt even do that!!!
I have a Westie and was looking forward to bringing him in (9 months) for his first groom. I understand that Westies can be a bit difficult because they can have/need such a specific type of groom. I just wanted him trimmed up along his back, have his skirt left alone, nails trimmed and rather than having a big round head (like some have) wanted it to be trimmed up and have more of a square look to it (because that's how it grows naturally) I even went into the shop the day before to discuss how I'd like him to look AND brought 2 photo's of what I wanted him to look like. He's now home and looks more like a Schnauzer/Jack Russell than he does anything else! - not at ALL what a Westie Owner would want!. He's completely shaved and there's BARELY a skirt left over, there's patches from the clippers that were used on him, he's uneven all over the place, and generally I'm NOT happy. I'm sorry to say that that will be the first and last time I'll be bringing him there. - The photo's I've posted show the shave job and all it's unevenness and along the right side of his head all you can see is pink where they took the hair down FAR to low. Disappointing.
