It was a great place before to watch the game and have a bite. Lots of different things to do know. They have Karaoke Friday nights, UFC and live bands Satudays and now even Comedy nights on Sundays no cover and it was great to laugh. Food still great as always.
I used to come all the time ten years ago. The atmostsphere hasn't changed much, but the staff sure have. I have been back 3 times with friends and the snotty servers there always seem to create a problem. If you complain the food is cold, they pretty much just stare at you. I complained I didn't have enough dressing on my salad and I didn't enjoy it. The server said told me I should have told her earlier. What I'm supposed to go find you outside on your ciggarette break? I didn't touch the salad and she didn't even change the bill. I don't think so, never again.
The place looks very inviting from the front, great food. Food was quick to get to my table. Service was great. Wings are big & juicy. My buddy had the Cowboy Steak and raved about it. Plenty of draft on hand. They have lots of imports on tap also with a Draft menu to help with your choice. Very cute girls working there. Been there a few times and service is always great. They have a great relaxing patio with a Big screen. Great place to hang out with a buddy or a bunch of peaople to watch a game
Wednesday night is wing night and I was too quick to rush over and sink my taste buds into some wings.
You're first order of wings comes and then you get 6 at a time. The wings are small and boney. Not much meat and come out just shy of being warm.
Also, the wait staff take their time serving you...maybe to slow down the wing intake.
I won't be going back.
this is the second time that i've been to archibald's with some friends. i'd like to say that this establishment provides their patrons with notable service. our waitress was very quick and courteous with our orders.
although having service that's up to par with other pubs/bars, the dining experience was somewhat short of being favourable.
perhaps this is only in regards to their 'finger foods'; panko calamari, won ton tiki shrimp, shrimp & crab spring rolls.
the nachos itself, i'd have to say is the worst i've had up to date. i'm guessing the lettuce that i had omitted was used as a filler.
as i haven't given the entrees a full tasting. i'll have to leave that to another review.
