I ordered there plate special for lunch, 2 shrimp breaded, 5 chicken balls, rice and been sprouts. I was on a work break and after lunch, went back to work. I started feeling sick, and getting stomach cramps immediately. I managed to keep working, and wasnt sure what was going on. I had cramps coming and going for several hours afterwards. When sitting at our booth near the window I noticed how disgusting the blinds were... Seems like they have never been dusted or washed as there was food, dust, and grim all over the blinds.. made our stomachs turn to the point where we had to turn the blinds up.. other than the flith of the blinds... by far amazing!
Went there with a friend for the first time, It was awesome....definatly we will go again, then took my husband there for our anniversary ( and he dislikes chinese ) by the time we left, he was amazed with it. And now he is taking me out for my B-day!!! Love it!!!
This is the only chinese restaurant we order from, but the last few times the food has tasted different the chicken balls are hard and the rice seems to have the soya sauce already added, must be a different cook, it is still the best chinese food around, the place is small so we like to do take out,
Hands down the best Chinese food in the city. The full parking lot and wait times attest to that. Would probably do well in a bigger building but why mess with a good thing.

Wow, the Hong Kong is the best chinese restaurant in town! I have been going to the restaurant for 20 years now, and I have never been let down! Julie and Bucky are very nice people, and they sure know how to cook! Amazing.

Every time that I am back in Sault Ste Marie visiting, it is a given that I just HAVE to go to Hong Kong. The only disappointment is that because most of the times I'm in town are holidays (Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving), the restaurant is sometimes closed.
I appreciate that the restaurant is clean, and that service is always prompt. Some other reviews have mentioned cost - I find the prices very reasonable ($8-10 per entree), especially the combo (at under $10, it's big, filling, and includes all the favourites - easily enough for more than 1, or for left overs.)
Overall, this is, in my opinion, the best Chinese food in the Sault for quality, taste and freshness.

Good food and atmosphere, with excellent service. The restaurant appeared clean and presentable and upto date inside. The cost though is very high for chineese food. How much can egg rolls, rice and veggies cost with a little bit of meat? I will not return due to the cost. The some of the few combos offered are not bad price, but selection is poor. If you stray from these you will pay lots. The full menu selection is not as good as is the case in some other Chineese restaurants in the Soo.
