We have purchased...
We have purchased 2 trailers from Martin's - a made-to-order canoe trailer and a small R-pod travel trailer. Service has been very good, friendly. Unlike some other local dealers they don't try to sell you things you don't need. With canoe trailer they suggested we not commit to buying for a month or so until another trailer came in, so we could compare features and make the best decision (this helped us avoid a costly mistake). Similar good luck with R-pod. In stock choices are very limited.
I was not impressed by the customer service from Martins after buying a trailer. The manufacturer (Rance Trailers) gave us great customer service and backed their product. If you are looking for good service after the sale I would not recommend Martins Trailers & Accessories.
In March 2010 we reserved a motorhome with Martins Trailers for two weeks in August. We paid a $500 dollar deposit for the rental.
Mid July I found out that the motorhome had been sold meanwhile and not available for us anymore. The stuff and owner were not apologetic at all but quite rude on the phone, telling me that I could not expect them to honour their rental agreement if they had a customer who wanted to buy the RV. This was never mentioned when they accepted the deposit.
We did get the deposit back but had a much more costly holiday and had to scramble to change our travel dates because of last minute rental with a different company.
