Menu is like any restaurant, hit or miss. If you picked one you don't like or is not so good then you picked the wrong item!
GOOD Items: I liked the Curry Chicken Fried Rice, it comes with some bean sprouts. The Shanghai Noodles is okay too
BAD Items: BBQ Pork Spare Ribs this time..huge pieces but.....they are so big!......they are just too big......and not so easy to bite etc and i dont like the fat
It was awful.
The curry and all the sauces were very watery, and the chicken balls were gritty, greasy and undercooked. Chicken chow mein tatsted like at least a few of the vegetables were just starting to rot. The only thing decent was the pork fried rice we ordered, although we didn't see much pork in it.
The worst part was when we called to tell them that we had issues with the food, the woman who answered the phone hung up one me. Twice. They refused to offer us anything (we were hoping to get our money back, but any sort of offer would have made us happy at that point) and she just kept saying the food is good, and we must not know what Chinese food is supposed to taste like.
The food wasn't good. The service was a lot worse.
The food at King Harvest is excellent. The Chicken Chow Mein and Lemon Chicken are possibly the best in the city.
I recommend King Harvest for take out. The interior of the restaurant is in need of a major update, and the staff as lacking some of the basic soft skills for serving dinner.
Please also pay close attention to your bill before you pay. The last two times I have been there my bills was off. The first time by only a couple dollars, the second time by more then $10. The young name apologized for the error when I pointed it out and explained that he was thinking of another item on the menu which when I referred to the menu, did not exist.
Wait times also vary. Sometimes they tell me 20 minutes and it's ready in 15, other times they say 20 minutes, and it's 45.
Good take out, check you bill, give yourself lots of time for your food to be ready.
