Attic Pizza Parlour

This has to be my favorite pizza in Hamilton. Everything was delicious, from the dough, the cheese, and all the toppings. Not too greasy either. Its been awhile since I had some good pizza. Thanks Attic.

Pizza is terrible, no sauce and no taste or spice. Maybe because it was take out, but will never go back again.

The Worst Experience

Went for Wings and Pizza after the Ti-Cat game. Waitress was friendly, but sadly the owners do not understand customer service. We ordered at 4:40, our order (3 lbs of wings, 1side salad and 1 med pizza) was not delivered at 5:30. During this time the restaurant filled up, 3 tables came and left because there were only 2 waitresses for @ 20 tables. When I asked to speak to the owner he would not come out from the kitchen, rather she said 1/2our bill would be comp'd. Our food came at 5:35...55 minutes after our order was placed. The wings were the worst....cold, small, mostly wings 3 drums. When i sent them back the owner finally came out and began to berate me for complaining to the waitress. In the background a senior male was totally drunk and had 4 people carrying him out of the restaurant. Wings and Pizza turned into the mot pathetic dining experienced in a lifetime..truly the worst. Shameful.... oh yes the salad was room tempreature....Pizza was doughy, you know the type that is undercooked.... do I need to go on?

Greatest specialty pizzas!! Meatza, Canadian, Greek, Tree Hugger, all fantastic! Beer's cold, the service is very good. Tried the wings there the other night and we were impressed. And I'm not easily impressed with chicken wings. Overall, if you want anything but pizza, go somewhere else. I imagine that's why they called it The Attic Pizza Parlour, not The Attic Restaurant. Large patio available for dining outside in nicer weather, but it would be nice if the patrons could avoid yelling after 11p.m. I feel like I'm part of the conversations some nights. Get to The Attic for the best pizza you'll ever have! And ask about the pizza eating challenge. I've seen a guy actually have them puree his pizza with Coke in order to win it while his buddy videotaped it. Made me want to be sick just watching him, but it was still fun to watch!!

Ordered takeout Pizza and Wings from the attic two weekends ago. I was very disappointed. DO NOT ORDER WINGS from the Attic. They are the smallest wings ever and are $1 per wing. Ridiculous. The pizza was pretty good actually, but heavy. For 3 guys, we ordered 4lbs of wings and an XL pizza. It was $80 with delivery and tip!!! TERRIBLE!!! This place has gone way down hill. Won't be back. Ned, take note: Order bigger wings. You are charging WAY too much for the small wings.

Nothing Special

Really small and nothing going on. the food was ok, wings were wings(nothing special) personally I think the wings were on the small side but still tasted like any other wings I have had. The beer was cold (nothing special) the pizza I will give them the thumbs up for, that was good. Still maybe I will go back but not for awhile.

Pizza was ok, wings tasted like fish

We did take out from this place 2 weeks ago, it was the second time we had given it a try. We've been curious to eat-in, but after this experience, I think we are going to pass on this place all together. The pizza was average but the wings were horrible. Small in size, sauce was bland and overall they had a fishy after taste. Checked their menu to see if they perhaps served Fish and Chips, possibly the same deep fryer used for wings and battered fish, but they had no such menu item. So it was either bad sauce or bad wings. Was hoping this might become our local pizza spot, being new to the area, but I think we will continue the search.

Puny Wings from Midget Chickens

I can't believe that wings can come that small. New Yorker style pizza was good, but the midget wings were drowning in average sauce. One of these days someone around here will successfully copy the "Anchor Bars" recipe. Wings that are 3" and unbreaded and just the right amount of sauce.

The pizza was good, but there was nothing exceptional about it. The chicken fingers that were properly done were very good, but the kitchen messed up and made only three instead of five, the staff continued to screw up by burning the chicken fingers to complete the order. Our waitress was very good and very friendly, I felt bad for her as the kitchen staff were not even capable of properly cooking chicken fingers.

Amazing!!!!!!!!

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing!!! I was bored and i checked out this website and my favourite place to eat. I cant believe all of the negative comments! All my friends and myself love... let me repeat... LOVE this place! they are so polite! we have sat in and ordered out over a dozen times in the past year. All experiences were amazing. Especially the time a few months ago when I finnished surgery to repair a torn ACL, MCL and Meniscus in my knee from playing Basketball, after surgery i ended up having a blood clot in my calf (I am 21). We sat in and had our pizza and the waitress was very interested and concerned why i was on crutches and she went over and above helping me get seated. this is a place to check out if you are in town!!! cheers AL

This was probably the worst food i have ever eaten. We waited over an hour for the pizza and it was soggy and undercooked. While sitting at the bar I overheard the owner swearing at one of his waitresses.. Seriously don`t waste your money at this place.

09/24/09 I came back once again! This time I brought my friends in which one had never been. At first she thought, ......., but once she went in she was quite impressed. She thought it was very cozy in which is why I attend quite often, if not ordering delivery! The server greeted us right away while pouring her drinks; talk about multi-tasking!! My friend loved the different salads they offered, most of which are new! Our food came out perfect! I know there are no heat lamps thats why I love the food, fresh to order!! We tried 2 new salads which are HUGE! I recommend sharing! we of course at it all! but we were quite hungry! Bruschetta was like a meal of its own! thumbs up guys! Then our pizza came and of course im always impressed, my friend loved it because they were not cheap on the toppings at all!! unlike other places she's been. (no names mentioned) but there was noo way we were finishing the pizza!! we were stuffed! we brought the extra's home for midnight snack! I was glad I brought my friends and let's just say I'm sure they will be back without me!!

What a Great Lunch!! We had a great lunch at your place today. Everything was wonderful and servings were plentiful. We brought home four boxes of food. We’ll be back for your great pizza and express lunch pastas. The staff was efficient, helpful, and friendly.

This place is a joke

I cannot belive that this place is still in business i went there on a saturday night with friends and attempted to order the nachoos no nachos in stock then asked for un breaded wings also not in stock. But they are on the menu. Anyway after waiting for over an hour for my pizza and now breaded wings. The pizza was not cooked fully and the wings were extremely dry and the two guys behind the bar (i assume there the brothers that own the place) looked like a couple of bums dressed in jogging pants and a hat. They spent most of the time hitting on there own waitresses thus causing the service to be extermely slow. Dont think they will be open to much longer if they keep this up.

Old Tyme Customer

Reading some of the reviews of other people who heard that the Attic was a #1 place for pizza .... this is no longer true. The "new" Acctic was taken over by a family when the old family (The Vlajkov's) retired from the business back in 1999 / 2000 (approx). The "new" Attic's pizza is mediocre (not bad but not great either) at best. They tried to copy / mimic the old style pizza but just can't seem to get the recipe down pat. They finally gave up trying. Overall the food isn't bad ... but it's nothing to write home to Ma about either. The Bar area is too loud and noisey with all the tv's and the music playing at the same time. There also seems to be a high turn-over of staff on a constant basis. Don't expect anything great from this place. This place is more of a "home watering hole" for the locals.

GREAT FOOD

Nooooooooobody beats their pizza and wings. The prices are also very reasonable, considering the quality of the food. Service can sometimes be a little slow, but it's because they take their time preparing the food and do it right!!

I have been to the Attic awhile back and enjoyed the whole experience. I went back in the fall of 07 and really was disappointed. Went back this year to give it one more try. I have to say the experience was frustrating to say the least. The service was so bad!! I could not understand it, since it wasnt too busy. I felt that if we were not regulars, or at the bar, then we did not belong. For the price of the food, I expected great like I had before...not so. I am sorry to say that I probably wont go back.

First of all, this is the best pizza in the Niagara area. I've lived in Hamilton, Grimsby and Toronto, and have eaten more than my share of pizza in a host of different restaurants. I challenge you to try it just once. When you do, you'll understand exactly what I'm talking about. Secondly, everything else we ordered was excellent, as was the service and the cost. I highly recommend this establishment, one hundred per cent!!

great place go there all the time! im a regular, and it doesent feel like a :private club: to me, the place is small but about the most comfortable place in town, and the two boys who run the place do a great job at keeping the place family oriented, clean and a place were you will never run into a problem if you want to sit and have a beer.

Wait was not long at all for 3 extra large pizzas. The staff was very friendly and helpful and came back multiple times to check in. The pizza was hot and all the ingredients were fresh. Huge pizzas, and surprisingly, we finished every slice. They must have been that good. Will definitely come back again.
