Konoe Sushi

Never again! Was a good go to, spent hundreds of $$$$$ as we were regulars. Had some funky salmon sashimi, complained about it. Owners did nothing nor replace it with newer stock! They charged me for the fish we could not eat! Waitstaff said the owners claim the fish is 'fresh' as it was bought yesterday. Reluctantly paid the bill + tip. Never going to a place that serves day or two old 'fresh' fish. Good luck Marado, you'll need it!

Went for my GF's bday and really enjoyed everything! from the garlic bread to the bisque to the broiled lobster... service was great and I look forward to coming back!!

Havent tasted better

had a great dinner, went out with some friends and enjoyed the full dinner. It was pretty packed but I suppose that is a good thing. Ill be back!

We heard some good things about this restaurant from our friends but our experience was not quite the same. It was so warm inside the restaurant, we were almost sweating in our t-shirts. The decor looked like it was from the 70's and the lighting is dim. The lobster was just average. I think I could have cooked it better at home and that goes the same to the rest of the meal.

a friend recommended us to this nice little lobster place in thornhill. Luckly we made reservations as it was packed. Food was great and the staff was very good( every table was full at 8 30 while we were eating )

I have been coming to lobster royale for YEARS...

I have been coming to lobster royale for YEARS... Like over 10... A couple times a year atleast and always on New years... Ive been to alot of lobster places in the GTA and nowhere compares... Lobsters are cooked to perfection and the DInners are amazing. soup, sald,side dish , drink and of course Lobster for a great price... Cant beat the combo anywhere . Its making me hungry just thinking about it ! If your wondering what size to get go for 1 1/2 as a standard size and bigger if your really hungry :) The staff is great too but ive warned you MAKE RESERVATIONS.. fills up fast on the weekends..

EXCELLENT LOBSTER RESTAURANT!! One of the finest in town! I am from the East Coast and their lobster definitely compares and meets my high standards! The service was excellent & I will definitely come back again and again!! :)

Oysters were good, and well presented. As good as you could expect from a lobster place. Lobsters never tasted so good (well except for maybe on the coast of Maine). Lobster Royale's lobsters were really tasty, and cooked just right. The were pre-cracked in strategic locations, I rarely had to use the shell crackers. I ordered a side of rice that was a tad bit underdone, but still o.k. Don't go to this place to expect a light meal, expect to get your money's worth of calories and cholesterol! After eating here, I'd never go back to one those larger franchise lobster places.

the food was ok but the service ruined the entire experience. i don't know if she was flustered by the amount of patrons, having a bad day or just didn't like us, whatever reason, it was pretty bad service. she basically threw the dishes down on the table, didn't do the routine "how's everything going?", didn't refill our water glasses, and was pretty rude. having worked in the food service industry, i felt that was unacceptable. i left her a $20 tip but i don't think i will ever go back again based on the service of this particular waitress.
