The Al Green Sculpture Studio School in Toronto was founded in 2000 by sculptor, entrepreneur and philanthropist Al Green. We provide improved educational opportunities and access for sculptors. With members ranging from novices to professionals, the school continues to thrive as a unique, non-profit centre for creative expression and artistic development. Artist and teacher Melanie Chikofsky, as its full-time director, oversees the institution. The school's curriculum includes private and class instruction, academic field excursions, guest lectures and workshops. The school runs six days per week, including evenings and holidays, allowing members to work at their own pace.
