    Bestellen is all kinds of awesome! If you ever decide to try to place, gather your friends and order the family style whole suckling pig (Min 8 people and 72 hours notice required) The whole roast suckling pig family style dinner starts with a variety of sides (veggies, potatoes, brioches) to get the appetite going. Then, a whole roast pig is plonked in the middle of the table, with head still on - this is the moment when everyone bust out their cameras.

    Service would have been 5 star but he messed up our order we ordered ribeye and got another steak the 8 ounce which was amazing but wasn't enough for two people, but we really wanted the rib eye we will return to try it otherwise the service was amazing with everything else

    First time trying terrine and I absolutely loved the duck terrine. Also the Octopus taster dish was one of the best I've ever had. I would definitely come back again.

    Our server I believe his name is Jaret, that was the name on the bill, was excellent. He is amazing at his job, he was friendly knowledgeable and attentive. Everything we ordered was delicious. It was a fantastic evening and we will most definitely dine at Bestelelen again.

    We love the cocktails and burgers. Missed the Welsh rarebit we had last time we visited some time ago but the charcuterie plate and buck-a-shuck oysters were a welcome consolation. I can't put my finger on it but the burger did not have the same flavour as it did during our previous visit. Maybe too much salt? Not sure. It blew my mind during the first visit so perhaps I was just spoiled by not having ever encountered such a magnificent burger before in my life. Waitstaff were so attentive and kind and patient while we asked dumb questions about food and drinks. Had the Rob Roy, the Sergio Leone, and the Basil Smash; the cocktails are always on point.

    Love this place. I came here solo on NYE after a friend got stuck circling Paris on a plane and missed her flight to Toronto. I wanted to come again with a friend of mine for "Palentine's Day" because I knew she'd love it. I really need to try something other than the burger next time.     It was exactly as their website listed, we knew about our seating times (2hour limit) and were reminded my the staff. The staff were lovely informative. The only downsides was that the food took a little while to come out and we were at a table next to an amauter food blogger who insisted on taking many pictures with flash and speaking incredibly loudly - they eventually settled down before we could ask them too.

    Delicious and unique food! Our server was very knowledgable and friendly. The food is FANTASTIC. I've been recommended here by 3 different foodie friends, so I had to try it. The restaurant is definitely not cheap, but you get what you pay for, for sure! Don't go here if you're a vegetarian.

    Our waitress was okay, but when we asked how much the Côte de boeuf was she told us it was 4.25 per pound and that the piece of meat was around 48 ounces. We asked her exactly how much it would be and she went to ask someone and came back to tell us it was $179. We ordered it and when the bill came the Côte de boeuf was $204 not $179 as we were told. She basically told us there was nothing she could do and even after she spoke to the manager, nothing was done. My friend went to go speak with the manger himself and still would not do anything for us. For $350 the food was sub par and the service and customer service was horrible. I will NOT be returning to this place and I would never recommend it to anyone.

    Most meat cuts are for 2+ people, leaving limited choices for a steak if people have different tastes. Meat is good and service is great. Barrel aged cocktail very tasty

    Absolutely lovely evening! Special note about the service: Our waitress and the rest of the staff were extremely attentive and did an absolutely fabulous job ensuring we were happy guests. Water was always refilled, plates were cleared on time, requests were carried through with a smile. Will definitely be coming back here again.

    We had a great meal, however, we went during winterlicious 2017 and unfortunately we couldn't order off the winterlicious menu and their regular menu on the same day. I wanted to try their winterlicious menu, but my husband wanted to order off their regular menu but they wouldn't allow us.

    Burger was fantastic! 3 out of 4 girls of us ordered it. Two men that served our table were not only attentive and professional. They were lovely and funny. Great service all around. Having been in the industry myself for 5 years at point in my life, we tend to be the hardest critics. But absolutely nothing but good things to say!

    We went for Winterlicious and it was our first time at Bestellen. Waiter was great, explained everything and was very obliging. Courses came quickly and looked appetizing. However, restaurant was very drafty and cold and noise level was high even though initially it wasn't very busy. It was pretty empty with few diners on a Friday at 7pm but filled thru the night and was busier by 8pm.

    Went to Bestellen with friends who are very restaurant savvy and who are pretty picky about where and what they eat. They were not disappointed!! The food was amazing and they were quite impressed. The steak tartare was incredible! Will definitely go there again.

    Fantastic service from our server. Friendly and attentive and also very respectful of our space and not interrupting. Food was amazing. Buck a shuck - great idea. Met one of the chefs to congratulate him on the incredibly tasty preparation of the entrée. Atmosphere was comfortable and inviting. Looking forward to a return visit.
