Bricco Kitchen and Wine Bar is a small restaurant in the heart of Toronto´s historic Junction village. The name bricco comes from the Piedmont region in the north west of Italy, in the foothills of the Alps, referring to best slope or hill of the vineyard. This is an area which mirrors our goal of showcasing a meaningful connection between food and wine. The menu is Italian drawing upon influences from around the Mediterranean with a simple and comforting feel. We offer up to 20 wines by the glass with rotating thematic red and white flights. more...

Service was appropriately attentive but they should have engaged the sommellier earlier when we made it clear that we were inspired to make the journey for their wines (Piedmont focus) The food was very honest and tasty, especially the superb Risotto. Overall we had an Excellent Time and will be going back. .

Great place - with great service and atmosphere. Staff always attentive, and will tune the menu to one's needs and wants. Good wine list, and always lots of help available when it gets down to choosing. Really good value. We are lucky to have it in the Junction - probably the best restaurant in the neighborhood.

Great service. Fun atmosphere with lots of space and not many people. Owner is part of the staff and the servers are super nice. Food is great with a small menu full of quality food

The food was good (not great), not traditional Italian, and presentation was poor. Good atmosphere and great location though, and service was excellent. You will notice fine dining prices which are not commensurate with quality. $150 for dinner for two, only one drink each. Based on what we experienced, it felt about 50% overpriced.

Service was excellent. The food was superb and the chef is to be complimented on preparing some dishes not commonly seen in restaurants(egg ravioli, vitello tonato and rabbit).Portion sizes were generous and all in all the restaurant represents very good value

I dined with my Italian friend Ben, he's what I call "specific", last night during Italian Restaurant Week at Bricco. From start to finish the entire experience was wonderful. We both dined from the set menu, each had wine pairings and coffee after dessert. The meal, the service, the atmosphere ... all amazing. We both had a fantastic time out and will definitely recommend, as well as return.

We are so lucky to have Bricco in our neighbourhood! The food is fantastic and the service is lovely. We shared everything between us, and loved every dish. I had the special pasta which was beet based and phenomenal - my husband had the fish special which was almost a soup and filled with fish and seafood, and that was also outstanding! One of the most interesting selections of wine by the glass you will find!

A+ The staff was very patient, as we took a while to order. The atmosphere was very private and the tables were nicely spaced out, you are not ontop of other guests. The food was top notch, as I have heard it would be.

It’s funny – Bricco is also in the Junction and also feels very New York, but has the more modern, sleek feel of Tribeca than the West Village. The large room is made to feel even more spacious by the white walls, high ceiling and tables spread far apart. What a luxury to be able to talk without having a table right next to you. Finally, you can really talk and eat in peace. And maybe, just maybe, fall in love just a little bit more.

With brick walls, wooden tables, chandeliers, fresh flowers, and the perfect amount of mood lighting, Bricco is undeniably romantic. An upscale Italian eatery meets charmed neighbourhood wine bar – you’ll be delighted when you walk past the steamy window and peer into the amber-hued romance inside. Menu standouts? Be sure to take a gander at the rich wine list, the handmade pastas, and the daily zuppa di pesce (fish stew).

At Bricco, casual Italian fare is paired with old-world wines amidst a stunning Scandinavian-inspired décor. With the seasonal menu in place, the food is always a perfect complement to your taste buds (be sure to try the rapini). Bonus: The owner is a sommelier, so all of your wine needs will be met.
