    must visit

If you like fresh beer and good food this is the place to visit. Situated in trendy Distillery District, it is a place to go and have a great night with friends or a date with someone special. There is a Mill Street beer store right on site. One of my fave spots

Delicious food. Beer not so good since Mill Street sold out to the Big Guys, according to the beer connosseur I was with. Service was pleasant and attentive, and got us in and out in plenty of time for our theatre date.

I was not served a fork for my dinner; I had to wait 10 minutes when I asked for one. Caesar salad was awful= kale really? instead of proper traditional romaine lettuce. Also you use cheap store-bought bottled parmesan cheese and not freshly shredded. Could not find any bacon bits. Suggestion: don't mess with tradition. Salmon dinner came without any vegetables; just dumped ontop of the kale.

It was a really nice dinner for us. There were five of us including two little kids. It was a good atmosphere although verging on loud. The waiter was friendly and helpful. (He warned me about the spice level of the curry. It's hot but really tasty)

My Mandalay chicken curry was too hot and upset my digestive system (I generally like spicy food), and there was very little chicken (3 chunks?).

We were here for my husband's birthday. The Pub was warm and cozy with a nice fire in the gas fireplace in the middle of the main dining room. The food was just okay. We ordered a veggie burger, an angus burger, fish and chips and the Mediterranean salad. The salad was the best dish. We were thrilled to get a chocolate fudge sundae to share for dessert. The chocolate sauce was to die for!!! We highly recommend that dessert. The apple pie is prepared when ordered, and looked good.

Great time had by all. Love the idea of servers coming around with "tasters" of beer. I ended up getting one of the tasters. Had family in from Saskatoon and they really enjoyed their lunch.

Friendly, lively atmosphere. Service was good - food was average. My husband had the prime rib Sunday special and he said it was tough, I had the Mediterranean chicken and it was just okay. My kids enjoyed their meals (Beef Dip, Pasta and Veggie Burger).

service was excellent - everyone was friendly and helpful and attentive; really glad we made a reservation as the place got very busy. We arrived a good 15 mins before our noon reservation and will plan to do this again as it gave us a more relaxed time before theatre at 1:30. The atmosphere is busy and noisy but that is not unexpected. Food is very good - the meat loaf plate is tasty - very strong flavours which gang up on you and you have had enough before you've finished all the food. Others had the fish and chips and the lamb meat pie. Don't remember any comments about the fish and the other diner said 'oh, there's the lamb, I was beginning to think they had forgotten it' - but I think he was satisfied. we'll be back, we've been many times before, but this was the first reservation - a good idea.

The place was busy which may account for somewhat less attentive service but level of service was adequate. The food was good enough although the chicken curry was very disappointing. It was not at all creamy and a bit too spicy leaning more to jalapeños than curry flavour.

Service was slow. Waiter seemed overwhelmed and he acted a little like he was agrivated. He needs to learn to set the drink tray on the edge of the table instead of holding it at head height for those at the table. He bounced the tray off my nose and didn't even notice. Best part of the meal was the apple pie. We loved it. Thnx
