Joe Singh and the great people at the Optic Zone provide exemplary service. This store has the best selection of anywhere in town. They keep abreast of the latest trends and styles. I get so many compliments on my bifocal sunglasses that make me feel like a movie star!
Staff here know how to match glasses with face shapes, such as suggesting narrow frames for square faces, and will let you keep sampling until you like what you see. There’s also a resident optician on site during the week so you never have to worry about your script and glasses being separated or lost. And, remember to ask for Joe. He has the answer to every question.
Looking to trade in your classic Ray-Bans for something a little out of the ordinary? Head to this fashionable King Street optical boutique where you’ll find avant-garde eyewear from high-end international designers, including Theo, Mykjta, Anne et Valentin, and Bevel. Owner Bob Karir makes frequent trips to Europe to source haute couture sunglasses made with novel materials such as buffalo horn, 3D-printed titanium and laminated wood. If you prefer something a little more high fashion, there are also sleek styles from big name brands like Chanel, Prada and Oliver Peoples.
