Long story short. Me and my girlfriend brought a coupon from one of the website. We went to the restaurant and we were asked to wait 45min for a table. (Note that we told them we have a coupon) Then we waited by the door for our table. Few minutes later another couple came in and spoke to the owner, me and my girlfriend over heard that he told them to wait for 20min. Me and my girlfriend looked at each other, going what?!! Is it we had a coupon so we have to wait longer? We walked right out of the restaurant after that. Luckily we can refund our coupon or else we have to suffer thru the bad customer service!
Went here for an early Saturday dinner around 3:30, so the place was relatively unoccupied, with 3 other tables seated. Ordered the meatballs to start and a feta lamb dish. Fiancee ordered Avgolemono (chicken soup), Chicken Rosemary Pie, and Yiaourti (greek yogurt with figs). The meatballs were the best I've had in years. I also enjoyed the Avgolemono soup a lot, so much that I ended up having 3 spoonfuls, after only asking my fiance for one. She only found it ok, a little too creamy for her taste. The salad with the lamb dish was ok; typical greek salad. Both the Pie and Lamb were delicious. My only complaint with the lamb was that I asked for it medium, and the center pieces were a little closer to medium rare. The Yiaourti tasted like cheesecake with figs! Delicious but a little too much after such a filling meal. Had already overstuffed myself since the food tasted so good! Luckily, since it was Winterlicious, my fiancee's meal only came to about $20, mine was about $45. (Fountain drinks not refillable).
we had the hummus and kebabs. it was not such a great experience as we did not like the food. the service was alright although they were closing down and hurrying on getting us out. there was no one else in the place and its a really big place to be in alone. the decor is above par though. overall it was adequate but nothing I would go back for.
Wow - What a great place... We have been to many restaurants on the Danforth and Ouzeri is by far one of the best! Great food - Great Service! I would recommend this restaurant to friends and family!
The hostesses at the front did not seem to know what they were doing as they forgot to seat us. The appetizers were good. The greek salad was made entirely with ice berg lettuce which was cheap. The drinks were way too strong; we couldn't finish them. The ice had fruit flies in it. At the bottom of our water and cocktail glasses were little flies. Gross. The souvlaki was okay - I've had better. We found that the meat was undercooked - there was lots of pink in the pork and some in the chicken. Our waiter didn't seem to know what was going on when we asked questions. I would not return as there are many better places to eat on the Danforth.
The food was great, but our dining experience was completely ruined by the fact that the staff was rude, unprofessional and in some cases unable to handle food and drinks without spilling them onto the customers
I could eat here every day!!! What a wonderful experience. The food was so tastey and cooked to perfection. The service was excellent. It is a GREAT value for your money. Excellent choice of beers on tap.(only 4 but they are the BEST ones to have) This is THE place to eat for greek food!!!!!!!! We will return again and again!!!
Since I'm a big fan of Greek cuisine, I frequently visit the Danforth (Greek town in Toronto) and have tried pretty much every restaurant on the strip. When ranking Greek restaurants, Ouzeri is right at the top of my list. The food is great and the prices are very affordable.
1) Entrée portions were tasty and large 2) Server was a delight and feigned interest in Star Trek very effectively 3) Ouzeri is the logical choice for a lunch destination

Overall it was an average dining experience. Went for Winterlicious. Food was fine, appetizer was cold. Server was friendly but not very attentive. Also charged us for extra pita bread which was pretty funny given that he didn't mention anything about it and just tacked it on. Probably wouldn't go back, but there are worst places to eat.

I had their lamb pastry when I went to taste of Danforth and it came out fresh from the oven.. this time it came out straight from the freezer to the oven and to my plate. Was extremely dry and tasted like frozen food. The food was edible. The service was okay. The appetizers were great and decently portioned. Will never go there again though.
The food at Ouzeri is always good! And this time didn't disappoint.
We were here for New Year's Eve dinner, very crowded, buzzing, but we received a warm welcome and had great service. We all had "changes" to menu items and they were all handled perfectly and without attitude. Our waiter was friendly and helpful, even posed for my insta pic of him lighting the saganaki on fire! Their tzatziki is the best in town and the food is excellent. Fantastic value for your dollar! Great food, great service! We will return next time we are in Toronto!
Delicious food, nicely presented at a reasonable price: moussaka, grilled and fried calamari, avgolomeno soup. We had a New Year's Eve dinner with our two kids and friends. Very nice expierence; as usually (we live in the area and have been here before). Small complaint: too loud a music (greek style which adds to the ambience) but only to my ears. We'll be back.

Wine selection was very limited which was disappointing. They carry three Chardonnays and only one was available.
The Mediterranean Diet is in fact a way of life for many folks, with lots of seafood, whole grains, vegetables, olive oil and even a glass of red wine added in every once in a while. And the added bonus is that this way of eating reduces the risk of heart disease. So head to Ouzeri and eat to your heart’s content with fantastic fare such as: Melitzanosalata ($6.95) Roasted eggplant pureed with green herbs and spices, and Horta ($7.95) Steamed greens topped with extra virgin olive oil and lemon.View this Smart List
If you want great Greek comfort food, Ouzeri is the place to be. Their exquisite signature Rosemary Pies will be available for the festival. They’ll be offering both chicken and lamb. My advice? here is nothing better than a cold salad when the sun’s rays are beating down. And Ouzeri on the Danforth is one of the few places that offers an authentic Greek salad ($10.95). This isn’t the one you’re used to with lettuce (although they do offer that version - $8.95). No, the Horiatiki salad forgoes the lettuce and instead focuses on tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, peppers, olives and feta.
