Retirement Suites By The Lake is small, intimate, family-oriented retirement community with 92 well-appointed suites near the shore of Lake Ontario. The suites come in a variety of options including balconies, walkout and terrace suites. Customers can expect caring, compassionate and individualized care as well as a host of onsite amenities including chef-prepared meals in a large community dining room. We also offer a private dining room that can be reserved for family functions. Available to our residents are onsite wellness options (including an onsite physician), mobile dental or hearing care, massage therapy, acupuncture, foot care, and laboratory care. We also offer onsite physiotherapy, which is covered by OHIP - and a 24-hour canteen where residents are able to access coffee tea and snacks.     A client of mine was looking for a retirement home but isnt good with the internet so I took on the task of searching and setting up appointments for her. I have to tell you when I called to inquire about Retirement By The Lake I asked to speak to the manager. I was politely told that she is on holidays. I left a message and to my surprise she called back within 15 minutes! She was so helpful and very kind. My client hasn't made a move yet, but she knows where shes going!

    When I visit, the residents seem very happy to be there, there is always a great energy in the building. The workers are always pleasant and professional. I would consider it for myself in the future!
