“When you’ve been in the music business as long as I have,” Scarboro Music owner Frank Natale says, “it’s because you have a passion. You have to be passionate about the industry and the people.” And since 1971, Scarboro Music has been just that: passionate about teaching music and getting people the best instruments they can.
Frank knew from an early age that he was going to spend his career in the music business. “I started playing the accordion at a young age,” he says. “Eventually, I got into teaching and started working at a local music store.” While that music store has since been demolished to make way for Toronto Eaton Centre, Frank’s love for music teaching and retail stuck with him and led him to open Scarboro Music. Now, even after decades of teaching and matching people to their instruments, Frank and his team are still passionate about teaching music and offering clients the best value possible.
