Where to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Toronto

Where to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Toronto

Come March 17, uptown regulars make way for Irish-for-a-day revelers at this casual pub’s annual St. Patrick’s Day festivities. The servers are friendly, décor is typically Irish (dark wood, plush red seating, frosted glass panels adorned with intricate Celtic imagery) and the menu features crowd-pleasing pub fare, including bangers and mash, Irish stew and fish and chips.

Toronto places to watch the Leafs around Yonge and Eglinton

It may be an Irish pub but if there’s one thing the Irish know how to do really well, it’s using the force of beer in helping the home team win. It’s primarily known for hosting live music but if there’s a Leafs game on – particularly if they’re playing a key opponent – chances are better than good the TVs will go up in volume. The noise level in here gets pretty loud but that only adds to the excitement.
