Love this restaurant!! The food is great; simple and delicious (doesn't overcomplicate Italian fare like many other Toronto Italian restaurants). The service is excellent. Enjoyed this a lot!

Limited menu,. The pasta was good but a little too much cream that made it too rich.
The services was ok, they did check often to make sure everything was ok but the waiter had no emotions.

This was probably one of the worst service I had. I recently had lunch here. Since I was on a business trip I was alone in the city. The waiter was so rude to me it made me feel really uncomfortable. I requested the tomato salad and got the Caesar instead. The waiter was so rude and never came to ask me how it was so after a couple minutes I just ate it anyway. (it was a good salad but was NEVER worth the 10$, dressing didn't tasted home made and there was so much of it...). After that I got my pasta dish and at one point the waiter came and told me that my pasta would get cold since I was reading my book!!! Every time he was coming with a dish he was insisting on me moving my book before serving me... I don't know what was his problem. I mean being alone in another city is already boring I really didn't need to receive such bad attitude from a waiter. I mean yeah obviously my bill won't be enormous but I'm still gonna spend a couple of dollar... Anyway if you are a solo traveler avoid this place!

Can't comment on the food as I made reservations through the Uncle Tony's website for Saturday April 25th at 7:45 pm. I received an email confirmation of my reservation.
When we showed up to the restaurant, it was completely booked for a private party, and our previously confirmed reservation was not accepted. This was extremely disappointing to us as we were looking forward to trying out your restaurant for the first time.

The restaurant we booked through Bookends was closed for a private function when we arrived. Clearly your booking agency and the restaurant were not communicating

Despite proof of confirmation by email, when the six of us arrived at the restaurant , the staff said they had no record of our reservation. They said this happened often with online booking so next time we will telephone!
