Classic Drapery & Upholstery

When Judy Kovacs came to Canada, she was determined to set up her own business. In her homeland of Hungary she was in the dressmaking business; her expert seamstress skills lent themselves well to the drapery and upholstery trade where she worked when she firstarrived in Ontario.

Ambitious to open her own drapers and upholsterers company, she learned English and honed her skills. When she was ready, she opened Classic Drapery & Upholstery in 2011 and hasn't looked back. "I do everything on the premises in my workroom at the back," Judy says. "My store is a one-stop-shop for all a customer could need for their drapes and upholstery."
