For some, a bottle of wine is a matter of going to the local liquor store, but for Errol Gee and a growing number of people who frequent Winexpert in Whitby, wine comes in a kit, and is better than what’s available at the LCBO. “Our wine is equal to or better than the liquor store brands,” Errol says. “I guarantee that.”

Errol would know. With decades of experience behind him, including the products he sells at Winexpert, he has made over 15 award-winning wines and counting. “There’s tasting awards for amateur winemakers all over the world,” Errol says. “Mine have won awards in a number of different categories. In 2014 alone, I won four awards for four different wines I made right here at home.”

Errol uses his expertise to craft all the wine in-house, which he supplies through the Winexpert brand. “I chose to work with Winexpert because they make the best wine kits available,” Errol says. “And they’re getting better every year.”
