Chau's Kitchen

We went here a couple of times back in the 90's and were not very satisfied with the service. We decided to go back there yesterday and nothing has changed. I agree with the previous posters, the person in the dining room (manager, owner perhaps?) gives off bad vibes. Does she not want us there? The food was still good, but the ambiance of the place needs work. I guess we'll try again in another few years.

I agree with Jen. The food was alright but the service was terrible. The whole time I was there, I felt the owner wished I wasn't there; my wife and I felt like a burden. I guess because we were only a party of 2 people and not several people like two of the surrounding tables. Worst of all, when leaving the restaurant, a restaurant employee and possible family member of the owner parked his car inappropriatley behind my car. I accidently touched his car while backing up. They called the police on my wife and I only to have the police say there is nothing worth reporting. We waited almost an hour for the police to come. We traveled from Detroit to eat there. It was a terrible experience!

Absolutely Awesome

My husband, myself and 3 year old daughter go to this restaurant at least once a month on saturday or sunday for dim sum. The meal is absolutely amazing every time. We are Canadian and enjoy this restaurant and do not ever go to any other chinese cuisine. The employees are so nice and helpful and the dim sum is unbelievable. My 3 year old loves everything, even all of the seafood...... Great food, great price and great service!!!!

The best of the best food in Windsor

This is fantastic Chinese food. Fresh, beautifully prepared, high quality food at low prices. I eat from here regularly and I'm quite a snob about Chinese food. The best in town, and there is some stiff competition. No license.

The food was very fresh and tasty,my family making this place top favourite to go to for asian cuisine. Alot of family friend like it as well...................WE LOVE THE FOOD AND SERVICE.

the food was acceptable, but you could tell the lobster wasn't fresh. The rice was dry and the chicken was soggy. I don't understand how they do business, the waitress was rude and pushy.
