Beautiful location!
We had our wedding at La Grange this past winter. It's a lovely old building overlooking the river- great for an intimate group. It's best if you hire a shuttle, since there's not a lot of parking and it also means nobody drinks and drives. The food was great, the service friendly and the coordinator was helpful. Our sole complaint was the resident DJ, who was recommended by the coordinator. She was aggressive, actively unhelpful and unprofessional, playing almost none of the songs we had requested earlier in her lengthy questionnaire, including our first dance song. However, we'd definitely recommend La Grange for a wedding, family reunion etc. Everything else was great, just make sure you either do the music yourself or bring in someone who knows what they're doing and isn't defensive and rude about it to everyone.
