I had a party with her, I was extremely happy. The price was perfect, the service impeccable and the food was extremely amazing!!! The presentation was out of this world.
She went out of her way to get everything that I wanted within my budget.
She was highly recommended by a good friend and never thought I would be getting a party planner and a caterer. I didn't know that when I get a caterer, I get a party planner for free!!!

I had my wedding done by Gini (Gini Catering) and could not have been happier with our decision. She helped us pick the best hall, the food was delicious, the service was excellent and guests are still complimenting us on the reception 2 months later!
I have to say, the staff really knows what they're doing. At times during the planning it felt as though they weren't being flexible, but I trusted them and I'm so happy I did- they know the room and how everything works in there better than anyone! Our Head waiter that night, of course, Gini was fantastic- she was always one step ahead and made my parents and husband and I feel very well taken care of. She was also our coordinator and she was absolutely wonderful. I was concerned about having a large band in the room and she actually called another couple who had one for their reception while I was with her so I could hear how they liked it. I do have to say though, it can get really loud with a big band in there.
Overall, our wedding was amazing, they took the best care of us and it was incredibly elegant. Another plus is that the hotel is beautiful, the bridal suite is really large, they give you a hair and makeup room for the day of, and there are 2 great bars where we continued to celebrate after the reception!
For us, the most important things we wants at the reception was good food, plenty to drink, and a lot of dancing- and I can honestly say I wouldn't have changed anything about our wedding. I just want to re-emphasize on how GREAT the food was here. You are really getting amazing quality for what you're paying for!

We hired Gini catering for a 40th wedding anniversary and a 60th birthday party, a 2-in-1 event, and I have to let people know just how much the group, and myself as event organiser, truly appreciated the hard work, delicious food and most of all, the kindness and professionalism demonstrated by Gini, the chef as well as the servers. The team members were all very professional, warm and dedicated to making our event a memorable one where we could go about our evening without worrying about the details. They all adapted to the situation very easily and just kept going. All our guests said how good the food was and how fantastic the team was.
We'll be calling them again in the near future, without a doubt!
We first hired Gini in 2009 for our wedding, she was highly recommended by one of our close friends (who has been employing Gini for the past 10 years, for all corporate and family events). I will never regret having Gini as the main creator of that magic day of ours. The food was exquisite and all my guests (200) had the chance to repeat the main course at least twice during the evening, service was amazing. Kind, attentive and very professional staff served from moment one to the last guest on the dance floor. My first experience with Gini was when we first met 3 months before the wedding day and from then, we invite Gini to do our catering for every family and social event we have. There is a big difference between cost and value; I can gladly say that I choose Gini over all catering companies, not only for the value she brings to all events but as well because she makes your money worthwhile.
I recommend Gini for all events and I can’t wait to have Gini as the cater expert in my next event!

Used Gini for my wedding this year in Montreal and my wife and I had an absolutely terrible experience using this caterer.
Despite this bad review, I will admit that the food was quite good and enjoyed by all of our guests. The issue I have with this caterer is that the service provided both before the big day and at the reception itself was horrendous.
No tasting was provided despite multiple attempts to have one, caterer kept forgetting and changing our menu in the weeks leading up the wedding, and even tried cancelling on us at the last minute.
At the reception itself, the caterer placed business cards on all our tables (really, really tacky) despite our protests (had to have our coordinator go table to table to remove them). And was rude to both our guests and vendors. You know it's bad when in your follow up calls with your vendors they all go out of their way to mention how bad it was dealing with the caterer.
Caterer also had the nerve to contact us a week after the wedding to let us know that we didn't tip her enough and would be expecting a cheque in the mail.
I highly recommend you stay clear of this caterer.
