Great Food!

We asked for fried perogies and if they are not on lunch rush they are very willing to accomodate. Also we prefer lean sausage, which is a bit drier that the fat used in Ukraine.. We have the soup frequently and enjoy it all. Perhaps you could appreciate the effort of a home cooked meal in todays fast food world.

I would like to explain our philosophy regarding health eating at Baba's Bistro. Although we provide mainly Ukranian Cuisine we also offer Canadian Daily specials. We try to remain Health oriantated in. We slow cook our food, everything is home-made, we use low or no sodium. We do not have nor use a deepfryer. There are plenty of places if that is your choice. We try to give you as healthy as meal as possible all made by ourselves and our faithful staff. Our sausage is made at the Ukrainian co-op is Regina and we order it lean which means less fat (for your heart) so therefore it is a bit dryer that a fat base koubassa. There are many ways to make and cook cabbage rolls and perogies as well as borscht. We have taken our customers overall most common requests and serve them in that manner. We are thankful and greatful for the hundreds of positive comments by our customers and we realize that we cannot please everyone 100%. We do appreciate your business.

Good Eats in Estevan!

Who knew you could find a trendy Ukrainian Restaurant! The food is great here, I tried the cabbage rolls, home made soup, home made buns, sauerkraut perogies and then saskatoon perogies for dessert. Needless to say I was stuffed! I'm from Regina where there are a few more food options than Estevan and I don't think there's anything like it. A definite must try!
