Excellent food here, never been disappointed. My father took me to Gibsons when I was a wee lad, over 50 years ago!

Food was awful, oil soaked and expensive. I had been recommended to this place because it was supposed to be the best fish and chips in town, but the special turned out to be more expensive and the fish was dripping with oil. Very disappointing. The only thing I can say is the waitress was pleasant.

We ordered Calamari to start and I got a big piece of plastic that had been breaded and cooked into my piece.I showed our waiter who took it away and not much was said after that. When our bill came there was nothing taken off. I said I wasn't happy about it so he took it to the owner and came back offering half off. I was not impressed. It wasn't the money it was the fact that the owner even bother to come over to us and talk to us himself.

Gibsons Fish And Chips has THE BEST , old english style, fish and chips. The do not offer delivery ,(which they SHOULD), but even for pick-up it is WELL worth the drive. I have sought perfect fish and chips in the 6 years ive been in Saskatoon and i have found it. They plae your fish and chips in newspaper, like the old days. I recommend if you are an english style fish and chip lover, go to GIBSONS!!! Approx price for a 2 piece with chips is $10.25.
