Vancouver is the largest port city in Western Canada. Situated in beautiful British-Columbia, Vancouver stuns with its breathtaking natural attractions, its beautiful beaches in the south, and its soaring northern mountains. Vancouver has several main areas. Gastown was Vancouver’s first downtown core, and is now considered a national historic site. It was named after "Gassy" Jack Deighton. He opened the first saloon in the area. Yaletown is Vancouver’s upscale district, a hip neighborhood condensed with pubs, boutiques and restaurants. Mount Pleasant is an up-and-coming neighbourhoods, home to many first-time homeowners and young professionals. The Burrard Inlet is a shallow-sided coastal fjord. The waters of the Burrard Inlet form Vancouver’s primary port area.

Vancouver has plenty of museums and historic monuments to visit. It was the host of the 1986 International and Universal Exposition (Expo 86) and the 2010 Winter Olympics. Located in the heart of the city is Stanley Park, the third largest urban park in North America. It is a delightful spot for cyclists and tourists, as it spreads over 400 hectares.
