Zane

1
753 Queen St W, Toronto, ON M6J 1G1

Best for: All things accessory. Owner Zane hand picks everything in-store and has an amazing collection of bags, jewelry, hats, and even luxury luggage. He’s a true Toronto success story who started as a pop-up shop and now has two locations in the city. I bought my last two pairs of sunglasses from his store and it's my number one choice when shopping for gifts for my clients and friends. Zane has a great price range and always stocks the latest designers and trendy pieces for the new season. Don’t miss his stunning collection of hats and statement evening clutches.

Tnt The New Trend Ltd

2
236-87 Avenue Rd, Toronto, ON M5R 3R9

Best for: Red carpet events and luxury designers. If you love what Kylee Jenner wore to a premier, chances are they have the same piece in this Yorkville boutique. A go-to for international designers like Junya Watanabe and Comme des Garcons, this shop even stocks avant-garde pieces, so you can shop the full collection from the designer. They have a red carpet section, so you can find gorgeous dresses for events and parties. In terms of aesthetics, this spot is very on trend with LA – whatever the celebs are wearing you will find it in-store at TNT.

Melmira Bra & Swimsuits Inc

3
3319 Yonge St, Toronto, ON M4N 2L9

Best for: Perfectly fitted lingerie. Here’s the thing: the best fitting garments start with the right undergarments. This shop, owned by three sisters, is where I make sure clients will get fitted with the perfect bra or swimsuit. The store is appointment-based so the staff can provide one-on-one help. If you have an outfit that needs a particular undergarment, Melmira is the place to get something that will fit you perfectly. I use the boutique for all my clients on television.

Freda's Originals Inc

4
45 Elm St, Toronto, ON M5G 1H1

Best for: Bossy apparel for career women. This locally owned boutique in the downtown core carries brands we love but with a more European flair. They dress many of the people we see on daily television. With the selection of amazing jewelry and unique clothes, I can’t go in there without buying something. Owner Freda is always in-store, handpicking pieces for her clients and she also has her own line that she sells there. Bonus: Freda’s offers alterations in-store so that your garment fits perfect right from the start.

Over the Rainbow

5
123-55 Bloor St W, Toronto, ON M4W 1A6

Best for: Denim. This Toronto institution just celebrated 40 years in the business. They are a go-to for the best-fitting jeans and high-end denim. Each sales associate is a specialist so you can ask for a suggestion on just-in styles if you want to try something new. The shop also did a noteworthy collaboration with Fidelity Denim to create a unique jean sold only at Over the Rainbow. Owner Joel is always friendly and you can’t miss him with his signature moustache. Oh, and they have a jar of candy by the front door, which always draws me in :)

I Miss You Vintage

6
63 Ossington Ave, Toronto, ON M6J 2Z2

Best for: Next-level vintage shopping. This Ossington Avenue shop hosts hands down the best vintage offerings in Toronto, and is well known for carrying luxury brands. Want a vintage Chanel? Look no further. J’adore Dior? This store is sure to have more than a few pieces. The stock is always beautiful, but buyers beware, they come with a price tag. Be ready to take time to scour the racks of clothes to find that gem.

The Narwhal

7
102-1128 Yonge St, Toronto, ON M4W 2L8

Best for: Boho chic. For women who want an effortless cool look (like myself), this is a go-to shop for your everyday wardrobe, carrying trendy urban brands like R13, Helmut Lang, and Acne. You won’t see anything too flashy here; this shop is all about understated luxury. Owners Sydney and Marisa keep on top of trends, but choose pieces that subtly stand out, so each will stand the test of time in your closet.

The Store on Queen

662 Queen St W, Toronto, ON M6J 1E5

Best for: Girls night out outfits. This fun shop is filled with interesting pieces at great prices. I hit TSOQ when I style music videos or young celebs. Each piece is unique and eye catching with a lot of details and interesting shapes and textures. The prices are very reasonable so you can walk away with a full shopping bag without breaking the bank. The last piece I bought here was a pair of gold sequinned pants!
