I brought my golden doodle here for one week during my trip. When I picked her up she was very happy and excited. The resort owner took video of our dog for us to see. Also he showed us how our dog lived there. I also think it was good for the dogs to have a big area for them to exercise and have there own pen to stay in. I love taking Daena, our K9 companion, to K9 Central! As soon as we turn on their street and she realizes that she will be going there, she is excited! She is always well looked after and she treated well. On occasion we have had her kennelled, followed by a bath, brushing and nails and those services are wonderful as well. EXCELLENT! We've boarded our two dogs with Linda since moving to Peterborough in 2013. She is always happy to have them and we know the dogs feel the same because when they see her they completely lose it! So happy to see her! We never feel a bit of concern or worry when they stay with her and the one time there has been a health issue with one of them she calls right away and goes above and beyond to care for them. She was honest with each note she left, letting us know of any behaviour or medical issues if they arose. I’m 1997 I bought a dog from the humane society that was sick I took her to PPH and had her tested for parvovirus, she tested positive. I was advised that my dog would require treatment up to 5 days. I explained I was in between jobs, and couldn’t afford the cost. Dr. McD told me to bring her in and they would treat her for free!!! 4 daily trips to PPH. An amazing facility! Every single feature has been thought through to make it the safest and most comfortable for pet. The staff is super friendly and get to know you and your pets so well. Their groomer has done great work on my 2 goldens, giving me exactly what I want and even pointing out skin concerns.
