Your Plant-Based Powerhouse

Your first steps through Copper Branch’s doors are always welcomed ones. Large windows flood each table with sun and friendly employees eagerly await your arrival. Even head chef Ayesha is often present and ready to share: “This is like my home. These are my doors, and you are my guests. I take care of everyone the same.”

The testing for Copper Branch’s menu started an entire year before the grand opening on September 11, 2014. This restaurant caters to many often overlooked dietary needs and preferences.

The shop's sandwiches, burgers, smoothies and soups overflow with flavour. Their “power bowls” are especially hearty, bursting with energy-rich, non-GMO, whole ingredients. Plus, the vegan poutine takes the prize of most fantastic and comforting side: gluten-free and delicious. Entirely plant-based, and gluten free, Copper Branch has something for everyone ― even carnivores!

For the Love of Food

The hours of passion in the kitchen shine through in Ayesha's eyes as she explains just how she came to create the menu at Copper Branch: “I was never a vegan or gluten-free chef,” she admits. “I had to start with research.”

After a long year of testing, the restaurant’s menu has been designed to cover all of the vegan and gluten-free bases, while maintaining a blend of Indian and Asian twists. “A lot of passion has been put into developing this menu,” Ayesha shares. “It’s the love of my life.”

Copper Branch hopes to change the fast food status quo, and to promote a healthier plant-based diet: “We want people to understand the value of these foods: how it affects the planet, and how it affects people,” Ayesha explains. This green eatery carefully considers environmental responsibility in every aspect of its business, which is part of its dedication to promoting healthy living.

'Fast food done different,'  best explains the typical Copper Branch experience. Luxurious plant-based meals are prepared fresh and fast on the spot. And every option on the menu is a proven power food, promising you a more energized life and a taste of responsible organic living. What's more, most of the restaurant's ingredients are locally-sourced to support the community and the well-being of local farmers.

Here for the People

A booming reaction to the menu drives Copper Branch forward. “People love our food, they are happy we exist, they thank us for it,” Ayesha says. “That’s my reward.”

Copper Branch takes customer opinions seriously. They use the experience and feedback of their visitors to create positive change within the restaurant: “We want to be customer-friendly,” Ayesha notes. “We do what it takes to make you happy. We are here for the people.”
