From exotic to plain... :(
I used to love having a restaurant only blocks from my home with a great specialty dish like Bison Meatballs in a classic, but distinctive, marinara sauce. Redwater was it. I could invite people to drive all the way from the South end of the city to meet me for dinner and sample this outstanding appetizer. Without fail they'd always do so and were always delighted with the preparation, presentation, and flavors in that one dish. I've had ordered it with many of the tasty chicken or fish entree's at Redwater -- but the ONLY one that kept me and my friends choosing Redwater over other restaurants was the Bison meatballs. To add insult to injury they not only deleted the Bison but replaced it with "beef meatballs". Now tell me -- who cares to make an extra effort (like drive across town) to order beef meatballs? They don't taste anything like the Bison did. Just plain old ground beef in a ball. Doesn't this restaurant know that the main reason most of us order Bison is because, for a variety of reasons, we don't like beef? I tried the beef ones they now serve. A waste of money for me. This dish was a popular item according to staff but nobody could explain its being replaced with beef. Apparently I was not alone in my disappointment. You can get beef anywhere. Therefore I reduced the service and the food to three stars. For the most part the staff deserve a better rating but their managements inability to read their customer base is inexcusable IMO.

Best Steak Ever
I had the tenderloin steak, it was the most tender steak I ever had. There were nine of us celebrating a special birthday. The wait staff treated us like royalty and all of the food was delicious, especially the steak. The restaurant is located in Stadium shopping centre. There is plenty of parking, however, you do need a parking tag on your vehicle. There are several dispensers on the lot and you cna park up to two hours for free.
