Safeway Thorncliffe

I ordered a cake for my husband’s birthday. Me and y kids went to the bakery and ordered. The cake decorator wrote down everything and said it’ll be ready but when I went to pick up it wasn’t ready. Also my husband ordered a cake for my birthday but she didn’t make that either and had to pay for the cake. She ruined our plans. Worst place ever. Never ever trust the bakery department.

Downhill

Along with other members of the community, our family patronized this business for many, many years. But no more. In the last year, the staff have become abrasive, the hours have been cut (from 11PM, to 10PM), and they practically shove you out the door ten minutes to closing. Additionally, many of the perishable items are WELL past their best-before dates, the produce is poor quality, etc. Do yourself a favour, and go elsewhere--if a store doesn't want customers, they don't deserve them.

This store has gotten really crappy the last 6 months!!!! Stock is terrible... long lines on a busy Friday at 6pm with only 2 cashiers..... out of lemons, out of 5-6 things I came in for.... Time to switch stores!!! Out of blueberries.... shelves empty ....

I went to get som...

I went to get some helium balloons, and was verbally scolded for asking for them. Lesson learned go up the street to the other Safeway, they have friendly flower department staff
