Officially the WORST meal of the year. Today was our waiter's first night and it showed. We entered an empty restuarant (we were 3 customers).Simple order garlic butter prawns, stuffed mushrooms with cheese and chorizo,two chicken Mole and 1 enchilada with Mole Sauce. One Hour later our Main course arrived. stone cold. no sign of appetizers.5% discount after much whining by us. Appalling food, bloody awuful service (albeit with a smile) Chef refused any responsibilty for cold food. Dont bother

The food was delicious. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was very relaxed and cosy, could unwind after a busy day. Alex personally came around to check on us how was everything and that was very humbling and felt a personal touch.

the salt and pepper is the best mexican resturant in calgary by far it is true mexican food. and the watiters were very hospital and the returant it self was very clean and the new adition is very nice

This is authentic Mexican food. Do not expect tacos and burritos. Large servings, a limited menu. This is a small resturant, so fills up quickly on weekends. The Cochrane location is run by a brother, and equally good.

We enjoyed our visit to the Bowness location a...
We enjoyed our visit to the Bowness location a great deal. We were greeted at the door in a very friendly and timely manner and seated in the patio. The ambiance was very similar to Mexico but of coarse with patio heaters and silk plants. Our food was excellent and quite authentic to the dishes I have eaten on many trips to various parts of Mexio.
