Are you craving the taste of authentic Middle Eastern shawarma? How about the taste of delicious and traditional Middle Eastern tabouli salad? If so, look no further than Shawarma Station.
Founded in 2001, Shawarma Station was purchased by Maha Al-Zu’bi and Tahseen Khraisat in 2013. “After moving to Calgary from Jordan in 2011, we fell in love with the restaurant,” explains Tahseen. “When the owners expressed interest in selling it, we felt like we had enough experience with Middle Eastern food to be able to offer the customers something delicious and authentic.”
Bringing their own recipes and spices to the restaurant from the Middle East, Maha and Tahseen revamped the old menu. “The previous menu was very good. We just added our own flare to it,” he says.
