Fionn MacCool's Irish Pub/Restaurant welcomes you to their dining room. Their bar is the utmost scene for after dinner drinks. They are open late all week and are readily accessible by car.
I would have given Zero star if available. Horrible place to go to, 10 mins wait at the gate, 20 mins wait or the food and the food served was not that was ordered. Re-ordered the food and it took another 20 mins and to my surprise it was cold and no sauce. I can make a better pasta at home and I am not a cook. Never ever going back.
Last evening I was at Fion McCools on Gateway Boulevard with 5 friends and had the worst service ever. It took the server half an hour to bring us water. Drinks took forever to come. The food took along time after we were finally able to order.. We ordered more drinks with the meals and they didn't arrive until we were done eating.
We have been to this pub many times and have had great service. This server was more interested in the guys she served rather than providing good customer service.
Ah, the Blarney chips - a Fionn MacCool’s original. Think nachos, but with waffle-cut fries, smothered with cheese sauce and topped with tomatoes, green onions, jalapeno peppers, salsa and sour cream.
This spot serves up live local music, Canadian food favourites with an Irish twist (like Blarney chips, Guinness poutine and Rosslare lamb shank), and lots and lots of drinks. A great selection of beers, not to mention Irish whiskey and single malt whisky, are also on tap. How about a pint of Kilkenny and a lamb pie?
